Ok so I'm drawing a total blank. Call me dumb but I can't think of anything except for a double barrel pistol, magic paper carts and armor for him. I've taken dodge, mobility, Deft shootist and rapid reload for my feats and I have just completely blown a gasket on gear. Any suggestions on essensials or fun things to take?

2000g- Handy Haversack to keep all of your weapons, ammo, and personal equipment in order.
2000g- A variety of unique, masterwork, lore-important, and magical swords, daggers, and the like. Since you are a tengu, there is really no reason not to.
750g- An Oil of flame arrow. The intent of the spell is to give ranged ammunition the fiery property, and any reasonable DM should let you get away with it.
1000g- Gunsmithing, alchemical supplies for cartilages, and other crafting materials.
5000g- Chest of preparedness, it lets you have a small chest that appears to be empty but can summon any number of items that you may choose to assign to it (Whos worth is totaled to 100g or less) that would still fit inside the chest by simply stating the items name. It's a REALLY handy way to hide all of your ammo for safe keeping, your gunsmithing kit, some food, and hell your bedroll, why not. All of these things are non-magical, and the chest restores the items each day, but each individual item can only be summoned once a day, but it lasts for 24 hours regardless.
OR
5500g- (An old staple) Boots of Striding and Springing if you just so happen to be working towards the "Shot on the Run,"or "Leaping Shot" feats. I don't know if you are, but if so these boots would be your best friend in that case. Aptly named.
All that leaves a running total of 8750, or 9250. Leaves about 7k left to spend. Since you have an advanced firearm you have to pay for that, and I won't presume anything less than a +1 Chainshirt or equivalent. Lets say your weapon and armor total to about 6000g together with a +1 double barrel pistol and the +1 chainshirt.
I'd say spend the final 1000g on luxuries, professional services, housing, entertainment, minor knick-nack gear, and don't forget a few healing potions. Maybe a set of fake ID's and paperwork depending on your characters alignment and motives.
