Gods, you found that video....look, I was in college, broke at the time, having a tough time....
....some guy offers me a little glitter....said it was free...little did I know he meant this time...soon it all fades into a blur of Techno and Sparkles....soon I was doing sparkle for money, showing up at client's home for a "Sparkle Party"....movies were made that I never saw a dime from...or did I spend it all on glitter?
...I am so ashamed of what I had become...

Just get your friends together to prescribe your 'souls' - a rather dramatic term for something that...negligible, don't you agree...to the lord of the four unnamables in a very easy to lern ritual and you will be fine. You fill out the order, sign with your blood, I am afraid that cliche is a necessity and your new friends in the upper echelons of Games workshop will send you your Nurgle Bunnies.

It's not Bree that Mercus needs to convince, she's more than willing to turn tail and run. She's formed a perhaps unfortunate attachment to Winter with all his family talk, and she's in a particularly heightened state of mental and emotional instability as of late, having hopes of Brandon's rescue dangled in front of her as such, with no solid results to date. Bree is more than a little crazy, she was designed as such, and she operates on her own twisted moral code. Aside from Winter, Kabal is the only other person present capable of deterring her from this course of action.

I'm not taking them lightly, and Twi the player is seriously kicking her own a$$ and praying that Winter will tell Bree to move along, lol. I just really believe in sticking to my characters personality as much as possible. It's one of those key moments for her. Bree doesn't want to fight the Banshee, she could really care less about it, it isn't a Drow and she doesn't think it knows anything about her brother. It's obviously something magical, that she doesn't understand, and according to Winter evil. She would much rather avoid it, but will if it means not seeing disappointment on Winter's face.

True RP is always appreciated and more than welcome! and no worries, if our priestly friend decides the thing has to die then Kabal will lead the way...despite Stiehl9s misgivings ^_^
Because, I'm ready for some gods damned sleep and if slaying that b#&%# allows me to get some shut eye then lets get on with it already.

I just reread (or maybe read for the first time) Pathfinder's incorporeal rules and found I have been playing them wrong for a number of years now...I have been applying the 50% miss chance on all attacks (like invisibility), and I see that only applies to spells. Magic weapons do 50% damage with no miss chance.
Huh. I learned something new (or old as in this case).

I find that to be an improvement, if only in "mentals" of the game. If you have a chance to completely miss (that is, be ineffective), it doesn't make for much fun when you do miss. But the 50% damage allows you to do *some*thing. And mechanically it comes out the same.
Pathfinder=good stuff

Man, Louisville,KY has cool stuff going on and is pretty ripe for the 1920's bent of Spirit of the Century. River city, home to the Louisville Slugger factory, most bourbon distilleries, and this place Waverly Hills Sanatorium. Doing a bunch of research on the era right now. That Waverly joint is right down the road from me and is freakin' creepy.

Aaaand I have returned! Oahu and Kauai were indeed most excellent and nascent plans are in place for spending of accrued long service leave time on Kauai. 16 hours in a plane yesterday and 6 hours time difference to acclimatise to will make recovery relatively slow - but back in the saddle I am and I'll have something up in both threads shortly.
Didn't get a chance to read up each thread while on vacation (Waikiki internet access in the 'cheaper' hotels sucks) so hopefully am not dead...

Heh - Shifty that's your own fault... you seriously need to unbox and take a photo of your haul all in one place... like maybe a basketball court or something big enough.
I'm not terribly looking forward to the 'Yes, I've not painted a mini in 10 years... but I really really needed these... honest darling' conversation - but I'll get through it ;)

Yeah, about 6 miles from my front door. There are neighborhoods right in its creepy shadow.

Just as a note, next Wednesday I will be driving to the east coast and will have limited internet on Wed-Thursday. My family is moving to the east coast and I may or may not have reliable internet access (or I may have tons if it gets set up). I am the advance party with the rest of the family following in a few weeks.
If I am slow on posting, this is likely why. I shall attempt to post at least once per day, but I really do not know how reliable my posting will be for anywhere from a day or two to two weeks. We are going to get internet from Comcast, and that is always a crap shoot at best.

That's the HoR fight at the moment. I didn't do a full O group, but there were maps and diagrams along with taskings at least.
Funnily enough at our tabletop games we play full tac now, roll through dungeons and encounters in record times. Its amazing how quick things go when things are slickly organised :)
You sort of have to get players on board first though, as some people get upset that you are 'taking over their schtick', but so many groups just play as 4-6 individuals doing their own thing than an actual party, and thus a lot of time is spent on recalculating individual tactics on the fly and eating substantially more resources. For a group game, most people still roll with an individualist mindset.
A shame :)
The introduction of SOP's at our table is working well though.
Point man stays a set distance ahead, party moves in set formations with offsets to deal with AOE blasts, no one opens a door/portal/container unless there is a minimum 10'+ to the nearest party member etc etc.
Even gear is checked at the start of the session:
All pers to carry 2 Alch Fire, 2 Holy Water, curative wand, missile weapon... all checklisted.
