Arrows of slaying, reliable or no?
I'd say reliable. Often you don't even need to use them. Just show them to the enemy or tell them you have one and that can work wonders. In fact... you don't even need a real arrow of slaying to do this. Or sometimes not even an arrow.
I fight a lot of gullible monsters, though.
