'Ravager' after what you do with it
'Simba' after what i heard is the swahili word for lion, lions are brave, ferocious, deadly predators of the mwangii expanse.
'Geyser' after the geyser of blood that flows upward upon rending a foes flesh
'Beast' after the painful visions of 'a gruesome death by lions' the sword sends as it tears through it's victims flesh.
my primary vote goes to either Ravager or Simba, though Beast works too.

There are many named weapons in fantasy fiction and RPGs. What I'd like to know is whether you'd prefer something that has a fantastic or epic ring to it (e.g. Anduril, Greyswandir, Excalibur and Callandor), or something like nickname (Keenstrike, Tiger's Claw, Flame of the North). Also, many intelligent weapons in Forgotten Realms have "NPC names", for example Sylabra, Duerwyn, Albruin, Namarra.
What kind of name would you like it to have?

Alright. My barbarian(Iarwaeth) has a +2 Keen/Furious/Adamantine/Intelligent(CN) Greatsword. Seeing as it is an intelligent weapon I figure it needs a name... And I need help.
Any suggestions?
You could steal a name from Glen Cook and go with Life Taker or Widow Maker. I'm kinda partial to Soul Ripper.

As mentioned above it kind of depends on high fantasy or low fantasy. High fantasy you want to go with something in a different (or made up) language to give it a sense of history and/or mystery.
Low fantasy, you want more of a metaphor or Anglo-Saxon/Viking kenning: Crow Friend, Bone Biter, Goblin Nail...

What languages does the sword speak? It might have it's own name in X language. If it's something your Barb can't speak, that might be cool.
"My sword's name is Zyfriblexenthor, which he says means something like "One who finds the chinks in the world's armor". But I call him Darkbringer, 'cause I like to blind people. And 'cause it sounds, you know, cool and stuff."
Or, if you're the clever Barb-type, I've always been partial to names like "Reason", "Wit's End", etc. "I call him Reason. For none can resist a reasoned argument."
There are a number of English-to-XYZ translator sites you might check out if you'd like something in a different language. Otherwise, a good thesaurus is a treasured friend.
Good luck in choosing a name!
