BOOYAH!! So, you're like the sink master!

I never want to do that again.

However, I now own a "basin wrench."

Maybe I should go into business.

Does not compute...

"I never want to do that again." =/= "Maybe I should go into business."

;-)

I have to remember when tempted to go outside because of good weather that I am allergic to the outdoors. :(

edit: naked allergies...just not sexy.

People getting married always think it's really f@&@ing important for some reason.
Like....too f*++ing important.
Like.....
"we're getting married New Year's Eve cos that's when we met....sorry if you all had plans, but now you're coming to our wedding.....hey, why's nobody at our wedding?"
Then, mysteriously, they're divorced in 2 years!

In other words, do what you gotta do.

Yeah ...

Spoiler:
So one of my best friends got married last year, had the wedding over in Canada. Now, I would have loved to go (both to be there at his wedding and to visit Vancouver), but the cost to go from Australia to Canada for a wedding – not to mention other factors, such as a baby on the way, trying to save up leave at work for when said baby is born, a mortgage to pay etc – was just too much.

He was disappointed, but not to worry, they were going to have another celebration back in Sydney a couple of months later ... turned out it was on the same weekend my daughter was born and I couldn’t make that one either.

Now he’s pissed at me or something (or maybe his wife is) and there’s all this weirdness between us. Anyway ...

Putting this here as a placemarker.

I hope everyone's having a pleasant weekend. I'm off for a day of wine-tasting and picnicking at local wineries with friends. I hope today is as sunny and beautiful as the last two days have been!

I hope your day has been great. It sounds nice.

It was fabulous. The weather was gorgeous and the picnic lunch we had outside on the patio was just perfect. And the company was good, as it always is.

I am a happy woman just now. :) Full of wine and sammiches.

Hey...my bathroom sink plug is one of those fancy pop-up ones, and it just started sticking. Think you could swing by real quick?

Supplies for the monolith include two dozen screws, a half dozen brackets, an eight-foot 4x4 and 250 feet of rope.

I think I'll just keep using the butter knife to pop it open.

Gee, I hope this is not some kind of...uh, personal furniture.

Teter Techotl pointed to a black column of ebony which stood behind the dais. Hundreds of red dots scarred its polished surface — the bright scarlet heads of heavy copper nails driven into the black wood. "Five red nails for five Xotalanca lives!" exulted Techotl, and the horrible exultation in the faces of the listeners made them inhuman...

Well, later guyz. I'm off to bed.

Only two dozen screws? I figure you've got at least that many here in FAWTL land. But building a monolith with us as supplies?

I spent two f*@@ing hours up in the attic spraying down areas with mold with a bleach/water combo. It especially sucks when the only way into the attic is through a closet.

If this don't work, I'm gonna call in a f*@+ing expert and let him climb up there!

I had a mold problem. The bleach / water mix works...but then the mold came back.

what ended up working was bleaching it, then putting a fan in there for a week to keep the air moving. 3-4 washings alone didn't work. Then the fan added in worked the first time.

I have it on good authority that McMurdo station has received theirs, as has Moon Base Alpha. Funny, I swear I saw a razorbill flying by here with CC in its claws... it seemed to be laughing...

Does seem odd. Mine order was just the AP volume, nothing else – that might make a difference?

The shipping I select says it will take 12 – 20 days in transit. My orders seem to really run the gamut of that time frame. This was a quick one, 14 days.

Morning, Fawtly folks.

And Gregg, I saw were you tried to trick me with poisoned PIE. But as I opened my mouth, and the fumes of the piece on my fork wafted to the back of my mouth, I yanked the fork out before a deadly squirt of its toxic filling touched my innards. WHEW! Thank God for the my speedy sense of smell! I have a feeling that I dodged another Blue Waffle. My condolences to those who had to seek therapy for this elsewhere.

Good question. I do know an unfunny satirical attack of Mairkurion through one of his aliases goes over well.

Good Morning FAWTL!!!!! I had a busy weekend. It looks like Jude is in a growth spurt. He is now 16.5 lbs and 27 in long. I finished assembly on both the Whispering Tyrant and the Jabberwock miniatures. We had our 3rd session of Serpent Skull on Sunday and that continues to go well. Last night was a late night hockey game (started at 10:30 and ended about 12am) that we lost 4-2, even though we played pretty well.

EDIT: nekkid hockey recap for TotP.
