Our Pathfinder group is spawning!

Or more accurately one of our players became father today. Of the rest of the team I don't suspect much more kids coming anytime soon. Friends who are living with me won't have children - I don't think they would want to, but due to chronic illness she is suffering, pregnancy would be probably death sentence to her, the two other girls aren't much interested in kids and I explicitly don't want to spawn. The most probable spawner is the remaining guy but he is still young (25? 26?). Of course he is full of surprises at times.

I might be naked but for purely entertainment purposes.

Spawning is probably best done naked, though, too.

Be the most girly of the girl gamers I've seen post.

This is neither an insult, nor a compliment, merely an observation. Some people take a minute to figure it out by their words. She is definitely a she.

Obviously from her posts, she's a professional badass.

I'm guessing something involving guns, bulletproof vests, and money.

Thanks for the well wishes all. Despite many tests (oh so many, all my blood is gone :P ), they're still not sure. It could be a clot, torn musculature, a particular infection of the lung walls, etc, etc. They're treating me for the worst though, the clot, on the basis that if its something less than that, they won't have done any harm. Breathing much easier than earlier, so a step in the right direction anyhow. :)

Glad to hear of the turn for the better. Hope they find the source soon.

Get well. Keeping you in our prayers out here.

In homage of daze past -

Nuttin' but mutton for Christmas
Stinky and Fatty are mad
I'm getting mutton for Christmas
Cause I ain't been nuttin' but bad

I broke my club on Froggy's head
Somebody snitched on me
I hid a frog in Monkey's bed
Somebody snitched on me

I spilled some blood from Stinky's mug
I ate Moorluck’s brand new bug
Brushed my teeth with his brand new slug
Somebody snitched on me

Nuttin' but mutton for Christmas
Stinky and Fatty are mad
I'm getting mutton for Christmas
Cause I ain't been nuttin' but bad

I scratched my back with the Green Man’s hair
Somebody snitched on me
Dressed up like the Badgah fair
Somebody snitched on me

With the Solne I stole a dance
Climbed a tree and without my pants
Made the stew without no ants
Somebody snitched on me

Nuttin' but mutton for Christmas
Stinky and Fatty are mad
I'm getting mutton for Christmas
Cause I ain't been nuttin' but bad

So you better be good whatever you do
Cause if you're bad I'm warning you
You'll get mutton for Christmas!

Well, here's wishing you luck on getting this handled in a timely/hopefully cheap manner.

I don't know what is worse: the computer loss or being forced to go through Customer Service.

(Actually I do: it's the computer. But still.)

((Really, they're quite nice: it's just... frustrating to communicate so slowly and inaccurately.))

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Also, as irritating as this is, it's still vastly less important than Lord Synos getting better! So get better, Sy, so we can all go back to focusing on/commiserating with me, ME, MEEEE!

(Isnt that just the most selfless and inspirational speech?)

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Okay, so: fifteen minutes later, the meaning of "The computer does not allow me to do that exact thing that you are telling me to do; I understand what you've said and have repeatedly attempted to follow the instructions, but it doesn't work" is finally made clear. Communication is happening!

WELP: new computer time! (Or at least new hard drive. This one is so far gone, nothing recognizes that it even exists.)

Hard drive alone is a bit cheaper, but it can be a lot of work to get the compy set up again. Might be a good time for a new model.

Hard drives are not really that much of a bother to replace... the problem is the stuffz you has on them. My sympathies.
