Looks at 7 day forecast, glares in general direction of Freehold, glares back at forecast.

Edit: Begins crying over poorly planned wardrobe choices.

*Reads iced tea satchet ingredient list*

*In order:*

Chardonnay fine wine grape skins
Apple bits
Organic lemongrass
Natural white wine flavor
Organic orange peel
Natural pineapple and peach flavors
Sweet blackberry leaves
Natural peach juice

Aside from "natural flavors", that seems wholesome enough.

My first slashfic~!

(Unless, as my wife mentions, that only applies to homosexual couples, in which case, uh... I don't know what it's called. But it's "clean" enough and I wanted to share with you guys!)

That has nothing to do with Guns n' Roses at all, what kind of slashfic is that. It's nothing unless it has Slash tearfully driving a needle into Axl's poor overdosing heart, while pleading Jim to live.

Not that I'm telling you how to write it...

It could have to do without Velvet Revolver, maybe? Or the Snakepit?

Slash has transcended far more than GnR.

For my money, Scott Weiland was a better front man than Axle Rose, in that he didn't, you know, sound absolutely horrifyingly terrible when singing to the point of distracting from the awesome background music the way Axle Rose did, so I'd say Velvet Revolver was better.

I did landscaping for Duff McKagen, dude was super awesome, gave us donuts and coffee every morning, came out to hang on our breaks.

Velvet Revolver was pretty good, I still miss Scott Wieland.

Yeah, a Chester Benington fronted STP just ain't STP.

Chocolate soda on its own tastes nasty, so why does 12oz of it mixed with about 3oz Irish whiskey taste so good?

Who is Chester whoever.

Also my phone's auto correct seemingly reset itself, which means I get to break it again. :-)

Elvanna fell to my Oracle's Destruction spell. It only took three tries to make it stick.

In my Pathfinder game tonight, we were facing the end boss of the "dungeon"-a wizard-who was kind enough to fail his Fort save against my Blindness spell. And then his save vs my Ray of Enfeeblement, which dropped him to 1 Strength. This was then followed by his surrender. Which is nice, since we were to try and take him alive if possible.

Also, my sorcerer got a cool "jet pack" from the loot. WooHoo!!

We play Friday, I plan on channeling the great goblin war chanter, Gobble the Shnook (marshal) with my Medium.

We're playing Hell's Rebels.

On the face of it, that sounds like a fairly peculiar combination of flavours; still, I've not tried it (I've never, ever come across chocolate soda), so I can't say you're wrong...

Lead singer of Linkin Park.

Which is so off the rails from what one expects from STP that it boggles my mind how the two connect.

Drugs perhaps. :-)

Not a fan of the weather, that is all I should say on the matter.

It's got me in kind of a funk.

Having to work tonight and the kitchen being a mess and having to wake up early to take the general and pea bear to work and school because it was snowing probably isn't helping.

Whatever, it is what it is.

Linkin Park's singer. He took over for STP when Scott was in rehab the umpteenth time a few years back.

It's...Not as good.

You know Scott died, don't you.

A real bummer, but not surprising.

Anytime. I have to say that after watching that video that I hope they do a live action Starcraft movie and have Charlize Theron as Nova.

Yeah I know. The STP replacement was a year or two before...Maybe more I forget. Always figured they'd boot Chester and bring him back.

Not that it'd be anything exceptional. I mean, besides Purple and Core their albums weren't memorable.

Is that the Brut Squad Cheer, or perhaps mating call?

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Can't it be both.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Maybe one ugh is a cheer, whereas two ugh (or more) is a mating call.

Monthly toy propaganda video time!

The first video they launch right in to how to lure children (into a sale).

What is your little customer doing?" is my favorite quote, followed by "here, put it in your hands"

O_o... they really need to get a lady with better phrasing...

We really need to bring phrasing back into the rotation, gang.

"Get down on their level, make eye contact, and if possible, put it in their hands"

I will not be doing any of that.

I love how retail jobs try to get you to care, as if you couldn't get another retail job in hours if fired. "But you'll get a bad reference."

Oh, please. You didn't even check my previous employers; what makes you think the next will?

So glad I haven't worked retail in years.

Absolutely, I'm the only person there that knows what all the new toys are, and I don't even watch their stupid videos.

Besides the phrasing chick, that is. :-)

I actually work at my retail job. Sometimes. Other times I'm making up new types of paperwork and data entry to do so I don't have to figure out where all the wine boxes I need are hidden.

Daaaaaaaaaaaaagggggggummit, Adventure Card Game! You always have interesting titles and I click on it and then it's just... about you, the adventure card game! Dang it!

(There is nothing wrong with the ACG, that I know of. It is, however, not something I am interested in getting into at present. And it's frustrating to have those threads keep popping up with a shiny, distracting "NEW" ... but yeah, this is mostly a needless expression of mild annoyance due to getting fooled by nothing but myself once again...) ;p

I get fooled by those, usually because I think it's going to deal with the AP they reference. :-)
