Also, I saw Star Wars on Tuesday night. Personally, I loved it, with very little of it bothering me. Unlike...Syrus'?...brother, no, I don't put it anywhere *near* the level of the prequels. And for me the prequels weren't spectacularly *bad*...each of those three movies had a glaring fatal moment/character/casting that made it hard to focus on the good parts of the movies, but tweaking those badly delivered scenes/characters/casting choices (I keep hearing Hayden Christensen is really good in non-SW movies) they'd be considered much, much better.

Late getting to work today, for the first time in longer than I can remember. On the first bus, there was a passenger that went on a profanity-laced tirade against another passenger. The driver had to take five minutes to calm him down. As such, I missed the second bus by seconds, and had to wait 30 minutes for the next one. I hope that the rest of my day is better.

I'm also trying to speculate on how accurately I can guess people's Myerrs Briggs by their forum posts, but I don't think I've done a very good job. I may get 2/3 out of the 4 letters right but that's about it. And some people I really have no clue...
Cultural differences?
Not big enough sample of behavior?
Them being covered in scales and horns that make reading their faces difficult?

I found mine pretty accurate. Personally. But that's me.
Mine is uncannily accurate as well, but I do take Myers-Briggs, the enneagram, and similar personality schemes with a grain of salt. Some people consistently fall into one category or another, others vary from quiz to quiz and year to year.
Myers-Briggs appeals to my sense of symmetry the same way that the nine-point alignment scheme does – neat boxes which fit human behaviors into easily understood binaries. I’m sure that psychologists have more accurate models, and I’m sure that they’re full of lengthy terminology and asymmetrical blanks.The really valuable takeaway from Myers-Briggs for me was the realization that, in some important but not-obvious ways, a lot of people are fundamentally different from me. For example, the type that internalizes convention and tradition to the point that criticism of the status quo is felt as a criticism of themselves – that blew my mind. Realizing that no, everyone defending the status quo is not necessarily just being obtuse or ignorant or self-serving – that for some people, the status quo is a higher priority than society and people – allowed me to make sense of so many things, from forum game discussions to politics.

I am FLIPPING OUT over my presents.
Inner Sea Gods is one of my favorite books overall and i LOOOOOOOVE having a hard copy. And Adventurers Guide is just AMAZING - My new favorite Paizo book. It is laid out PERFECTLY- I can ignore the new classes completely and focus on what I like because everything takes up one page. And the Darklight Sisterhood is missing which is PERFECT- now I/we can write it up and not get into fights with anyone over canon.
And the height indicator can let me know how high my wizards are flying.
This is awesome.

With my recent "victory" over Pandora, I've started playing around, and it's entertaining how you have to do things.
I started the "Classical Christmas" channel and quickly learned that Pandora's view of "classical" Christmas was pretty limited: The same 5 or 6 traditional songs, played on the piano or guitar, by 38 different artists. Got pretty boring, pretty fast. And for whatever reason, I couldn't "Add Variety" to the station.
Then NobodysWife started raving about how Sissel has the most beautiful voice in the universe (no idea whether she's related to our own Sissyl), so I created a Sissel station and added the Christmas channel to it.
And it's a nice, low-key, "have it on at a very low level in the background to make the house feel Christmas-y" station.
Way to go, Sissel/Sissyl!

I just really want to field a general into battle launching flaming globs of meringue via trebuchet onto the approaching gingerbread hordes, okay.what if gingerbread men were originally horrifying swarm creatures with a thirst for human flesh that we eat solely to remind ourselves of their carnivorous appetite/celebrate surviving their annual attack? Somewhere along the line the real reason got lost and they are just holiday treats now...
Granted, not gingerbread man but Frosty the snowman.

Yeah we watched Star Wars the Last Jedi. It was nice if uhh unrealistic at some parts(bad guys spend too much time bragging).Taking into account the amount of times Nazi leaders bragged around... There is nothing unrealistic about that part...
Really? I didnt know that! I thought ebul villian monologue was just confined to stuff run by GM Mort, because GM Mort watches too much Disney and cannot resist doing an ebul villian monologue before (unsuccessfully) trying to murderhobo the adventurers.
