Watching the best movie ever f!@*ing made right now.

I hate Illinois Nazis.....

Now I have to get it out and watch it tonight....

Did you watch the sequel I have been avoiding it... Is it as bad as I think it is?

It wasn't bad unless you compare it to the original. But BB is a hard act to follow, so as long as you don't expect it to be as f#!~ing great it's not a horrible way to spend an evening.

Thanks M

I would watch it for John Goodman, he is one of my favourite actors. I am thinking of watching Red State because he is in it.

Red State is definitely worth watching. :)

Hm..I was considering watching this, but since it has the Moorluck seal of approval, I'll pick it up next time I stop at redbox.

The original blues brothers was indeed too tough of an act to follow- it's greatness killed it as a series.

Looking forward to another day of Kingmaker goodness with Jess and Wolfthulhu and company.

Cool. Tomorrow is Darklight Sisterhood Redux for me- last week we started too late and ate too much and I wasn't at the top of my game- I'll be ready for their particular brand of madness this time.

My all time favorite used to be McKenzies down in New Orleans. On occasion, in my youth, I used to walk from my house to the nearest one and buy 2 or 3 glaze donuts.

So tell me AZ, are those begniet (sp?) thingies as good as everyone says? They are supposedly a NO staple pastry, figured I'd ask.
Beignets are really good, especially with chicory coffee, eaten at Cafe Dumonde on Decateur St. in New Orleans after a night of heavy drinking...

What HD said. Beignets are the fo'schnizzle on the yizzle.

Yes, the hide thread is doing wonders for the boards. Now everyone can enjoy the type of fun they enjoy! Yay for everyone!

I must admit, however, that there are things I miss about the old ways. Like AZ's parody threads, or CJ calling me a bastard. But if it's preventing others from freaking out, then I must say: hats off to the moderators!

Three cheers for Paizo!

Yes, but I only call you a bastard when you request it. Always in jest.

Chicory in coffee! While I would gladly go to Cafe du Monde, chicory in coffee is an abomination unto the Lord. A NO gal made some for me, and I wanted to take a rasp to my tongue to remove the taste.

So I'm not the only one running SCAP. Excellent. >:)

Shadow Lodge

I've been specializing in it these last few years. Whenever I get a new group, I run it for them. This is only the second group that has been able to have a serious go at it. I'm getting to use a lot of the community tweaks to make it that much better, as well as the lessons from my first run. Hopefully I'll be able to complete it before this group splits up if/when it does.

I have been listening to Kevin Smiths Podcasts they are hilarious, but absolutely filthy. Dogma and Mallrats are two of my favourite movies.

Why am I not surprised that you specialize in GMing my favorite AP to play through?

Also good morning all.

Shadow Lodge

Probably because it's the only one with a hardcover collection so far? :)

Have you read my stories? Both campaigns have been awesome. Even the one-shots that didn't finish the first module had some gems.

It did not, but this works fine. Thank you, nice pics.

Its my fave as well. Hubby is running it now. I think I <3 it more now than the first time!

Shadow Lodge

I gave my first copy to one of my first groups players when we finished the campaign, since I had bought a second copy and was moving away.

I'm enjoying Hell on Wheels.

I think my baby kitty may have gotten outside. Can't find him :(

They like to go under stuff.
How old is it?
If it's little, real young, I think it'd be more prone to finding a nice place to hide, rather than jamming out the front door.

Just at a year old now. He's never been outside though. Hubby looked under the house already, wasn't there. The neighbors b#&*! cat has been in heat lately and driving my little boys crazy, they have been interested in outside for a month or so now.

I have been trying to get the kids to make sure they close the door so they don't get out, but they are kids, and not prone to remembering such silly little details.

Silver Crusade

Growing up, I can remember once when one of our indoor cats got out. She bolted out the door (like she tried to do every time someone came in or out), got out onto the front step, and freaked out. She stood there a moment with her fur on end, then turned around and came back in.

Shadow Lodge

Our cat is strictly an indoor kitty, especially after getting her declawed. This wasn't a problem at all, until we got the dog.

Now she thinks she should get to go outside, since the dog always does. We have to keep an eye on her since she's not a big cat and can't be out on her own. It's funny how the first thing she does is flop on the pavement and writhe around. Silly animal.

Hello all, how is everyone on this (if you happen to be in Sydney) fine, hot spring morning?

We have a 30+ degree C day here today ... and two of my colleagues happen to be going on all day site inspections at beachside locations today. Nice work if you can get it, I am stuck in the office (but at least I have air conditioning).

I am running SCAP ... same campaign I have been running in fits and spurts since January 2004. Only two of the original players are still around, and we are only able to get together once every three months or so, but they still seem to be enjoying the game and are sticking with it (despite several offers by me to run something else if they prefer). They are in Occipitus at the moment.

Shadow Lodge

My campaign has been pretty steady twice a month, with a bit of an accelerated pace thanks to the high power level. We wrapped up the Siege of Redgorge as a pause point before I deployed, and when I get back the party could go in any direction, Occipitus, Kurran-Kural, Oblivion, maybe even the Fiery Sanctum if they play their cards right. Gonna be a wild ride next year.

Alas, my SCAP campaign only made it two sessions before I lost half my players. Maybe a new group sometime in the future.

Liberty's Edge

I’ve had eight or nine different players at various points, I think some of them did not stay around longer than a couple of sessions either!

I’m running it from the magazines rather than the hardcover, with a lot of additions and variations (mostly as suggested by delvesdeep from the boards).

Shadow Lodge

Then you're actually making more changes than the hardcover did. :)

I ran it from the book during my 15 month tour, Life's Bazaar to Thirteen Cages. I didn't know about the community material at the time.

Then I moved to Texas, right by my old gaming friend who had moved a year or so earlier. So I set up a group and started running it again, this time with delvesdeep's and other homebrew from the forums.

That plus the lessons learned the first time have made this go around doubly awesome.

If I end up living near Houston, I plan on running a third, super refined campaign for Kirth and HD.

Liberty's Edge

Sounds like that would be a good campaign TOZ.

Shadow Lodge

Especially running under Kirthfinder Final. :)

58* Fahrenheit or 14.44* Celsius here today. Cool but rather nice.

So my wife was watching 19 kids and counting. The Dad - Jimbob - on the show says that overpopulation of the world was nothing but a myth and that the entire population of the planet could fit within Jackson county Arkansas. My jaw dropped. If we crammed everyone in this world into the population density of New York City then we would live like sardines in the area of the State of Texas. We would have no real way to have good food distribution of production and would run out of fresh water in very short order. I hope and pray that no one who watches this show listens to this idiot. Oh by the way she is having another baby.

I’m actually more of a fan of cool weather myself, but I do enjoy the plethora of hot pants and halter neck tops that come out with the heat.
