I've debated getting that for years. I've never played HeroClix though, so I can't justify spending the money... :-/

I do have this one though.

Sweet googly moogly!

Should have left it up. It's not like the other side hasn't done the same thing before, which I also found funny at the time. Some people take s%&$ too damn seriously.

It wasn't the pic, which I still find funny, even if that is the worst picture of Secretary Clinton ever; It was rather the bashing going on betwixt the people posting on it.

As if Beauty had anything to do with leadership skills, or Sanity in some cases, for that matter.

Now I'm curious, but once you get into opposing sides and pttts arguments, it's probably best not to inquire.

Yeah when friends start nipping at each others heels, and the name calling comes out, it no longer matters who was right, or more right, it is best to forget.

Not so bad. Twenty bucks for a new ring- I wore the teeth off of the old one. They fixed my rear brakes for free too!!

You named your bike too?

Yeah it's a Puch (some old eighties brand) so I called it Puck after the A Midsummer's Night Dream satyr boy

After quick Googling

No it's a mountain bicycle, not a moped. The brand is 'Park Avenue'

Did..did you bring home some Japan for me?

No. But don't feel bad. Two of the guys in my gaming group asked me to bring home good sake for them, but I couldn't because of the stupid rules about getting through security with liquids over a certain amount of ounces.

That could have been a lot worse but luckily it didn't involve anyone being naked or a Fudgesicle...

Seriously, though...

Getting through security at Narita Aiport - about 5 minutes and I didn't even have to take off my shoes,

Getting through Chicago's O'Hare security - about 20 minutes, had to take the shoes off, the belt off, and completely empty every single pocket.

And, oh yeah, in Japan, they apologize for the wait.

See even having a nice person saying sorry for the delay would make the entire situation a little less... asinine.

Yup, did the same thing at O'Hare this last summer. Shoes, pockets, laptop carry case. I had an hour before my flight so it wasn't so bad. Nice bars and shops though...

I call Shenanigans! There's nothing nice about O'Hare. I am still investigating my suspicions that it may be the 667th layer of the Abyss.

Getting through Prestwick security - about 1 minute (okay, closer to 15, but that's because counting the time it took to fix the x-ray machine).

Nah. Fortunately here there are no politics. I had moment when I read something real early in tha AM that I desperately wanted to argue, but I knew there was no point, and the ensuing disconnect pissed me off and soured my morning. I got over it thanks to the kind words of several others on another venue. I am now trying to live by Elvis Costello's words:

'Oh well I used to he disgusted,
But now I try to be amused.'

I am pleasantly surprised to see you quoting Mr. MacManus, CC. His first three albums are amongst my all-time faves! I thought you only did the metal (and ZZ Top, of course).

Oh no, my dear Communerd! My tastes in music are quite catholic (as in universal, not churchy =D). My iBorg has everything from Mozart to Metallica on it. About the only music I find unlistenable is country and rap, and I even make exceptions in those categories (Charlie Daniels, Eminem, old Snoop, Ice T, NWA, Johnny Cash, etc.)

HIT ME!

One of my favorite videos by them. It really lit a fire under the ass of local 911 groups and FDNY EMS, although they originally stated that they had no bias in responding to black neighborhoods. To me, this is what rap is all about. Or was, at least- the rise of gangsta rap in the mid-late 90s did occur after all.
