First off, thank you for the good luck wishes. I would have posted this yesterday, but I was wiped out from the test. Interestingly enough, they give you the scores for everything but the written portion immediately, and I discovered that I am almost exactly on the median for the test. All that fuss and fire and nervousness for something akin to normality. Not sure if I should be happy or sad, although I'm not wowed by my results. Ah well. Time to apply to grad schools.
Next up, it was my wife's birthday on the 16th, and my well-crafted plan to surprise her with an xbox 360 backfired only when she got up early in the morning to go to the bathroom and defied my orders to come right back to bed- she looked in the living room and saw the 360 I set up last night staring her right in the face. She said something akin to "hey....is tha an Xbox 360 next to the TV?" To which I said "DAMMIT!!!!!!!" This is HER birthday gift, not mine, so the name to friend is
on XBL. I'm not sure how it works, really, but I'm having fun learning about it. And it's damn good to have Netflix on the living room TV, we are seriously downgrading our cable TV package as there are a lot of things on Netflix I need to catch up with. They have all of Naruto subbed, which is a *very* good thing, methinks, as well as a bunch of weird stuff I've been meaning to catch all of,like the Civil War Journal series and strange stuff from the 80s.
Finally it's my birthday today!!!! Which I'm sure people already knew. I will be here for a little while in the morning as I'm not sure what's going to be happening today beyond a little creative posting...
