Edit:
Also, I am awesome, and this page is mine now!
Sorry, I'm annexing this page.
Besides, you lowly peasants aren't important enough to see my regal splendor.
Its like the Emperor's New Clothes all over again.
Edit: See what I mean!

PS All you new school vampire kids suck. Real men play non-vampires who kill things and take their stuff.
Then you must be playing 1e. The elf class I know and love certainly has no dirty thieves in it. ;)

Not sure. Since I don't really speak one lick of Japanese, and the waiter didn't speak any english, I just kind of pointed at a picture on the menu. Maybe it was beef, but maybe it was something else.......
I am sure it was not what you thought it was. I mean why not mess with someone. How would you be able to tell?

Yeah if we lived by logic like that then the trolls would die of starvation, or be chained under ground.

Gutentag, Aeglos--
I surely loved R.E.M. back in the day, but I can't say I'm surprised or saddened that they've finally called it quits. It's been 20 years (or damn close)--they can go rest on their laurels.
As for Sabbath, I was listening to them, once, at 78 rpm, and I SAW GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looking ti up on Wikipedia, I noticed that it lists a lot of American shows on both channels RTL and VOX. Are these remade in German or are they subtitled or dubbed? Do you see a lot of American TV?

a lot! sadly they are dubbed, shows like the simpsons or buffy lost 1/3 of their humor in the process.
DVD's of good shows sell like hotcakes because a lot of people want to watch it in the original versionand in a few minutes season 6 of Bones will start over here

when I was a kid, private (comercial) TV was still ilegal here.
we had only Public service stations:ARD - General Broadcast Institution Germany (The First)
ZDF - Second German Television
HR - Hessian Network
and because we where lucky enough to live close to the state border:
Bavarian Network
Comercials where only allowed before 7 o'clock and broadcasts ended at 12
the only broadcasts interrrupted by comercials where the "early evening programms" amercian shows like Remington Steele, Falcon Crest, Simon&Simon and of course: The A Team
They had one! commercial break :-)
we where around 10 when my cousin proclaimed that in America the shows had several breaks and that even movies had breaks.
I did not belive him :-)
and we both agreed that 1, that would never happen here and 2. we would watch no more TV if it would happen :-)

At buddy of mine at work is from Scotland. He Hates commercials like Studpuffin hates Faux news. There are no commercials on during shows in the UK. He only watches sports, American football he hates soccer go figure, and DVDs. He will wait for a season of a show to come out to watch it rather than be bothered with commercials, with one glaring exception, Dr. Who. I honestly think it is more so he can complain about Matt Smith, than enjoyment of the show right now.
