Did you use the opportunity to get rid of any excess stuff?

I did indeed, I gave away my dungeon tiles since I have terrain and Dwarvenforge now. I sent a few minis to Crimson Jester and donated some comics to a friend here in town. I took a tonne of old novels to the local second hand bookstore. But for the most part my hobby stuff remains intact.

Good luck with the move.

Thanks Lynora moving from Newfoundland to Saskatchewan is quite a difference. Going from seeing rocky cliffs fog and the ocean, to flatland prairie will be a bit of a difference.

Thats over a 6000 KM move.

I found the lack of forests the harest thing to shake when I lived out West. Trees don't grow in a dry prarie unless planted and watered (or by the occasional river). It's 'big sky' country because there's nothing to block the view LOL

That kind of landscape gives me the heebie-jeebies. I want to hide under a rock so the Big Sky doesn't get me.

Yeah you really get the 'bug under a magnifier glass' feeling out there under all that sky.

Meh. I'm an arboreal primate. Open space scares me. I feel much more calm under a canopy, preferably in the upper branches with an ample supply of tree fruit and poop to throw at my foes....

I watch how the moon sits in the sky in the dark night
Shining with the light from the sun
The sun doesn't give light to the moon assuming
The moon's going to owe it one
It makes me think of how you act to me
You do favors and then rapidly
You just turn around and start asking me
about things that you want back from me

I'm sick of the tension, sick of the hunger
Sick of you acting like I owe you this
Find another place, to feed your greed -
While I find a place to rest

As well as this:

Disease! Disease! Spreading the disease.
With some help from Captain Trips, he'll bring the world down to his knees.
Power, yes Power! He'll show them all his power.
It pulses through his ice cold blood, a whole world to devour!

Bridge:
He's seeing, he's calling, his legacy he's spawning.
He's coming, corrupting, among the living!
Murder! Murder! Commit cold blooded murder!
Like Nazis during World War Two, they only follow orders.
Hatred! Hatred! A crucifix is your bed,
Once he turns his eye on you, you'll be better off dead!

Bridge

Chorus:
I'm the walkin' dude, I can see all the world!
Twist your minds with fear, I'm the man with the power.
Among the living, follow me or die!
Man, fights Man! Divided they can't stand!
United, they can battle back, and make him force his hand!
Fear, yes fear! His end is growing near,
He didn't count on Man's good faith, and their will to persevere.

Bridge

Chorus

Follow me or die!
FIRE! HOT FIRE!! Purge the world with fire!!
Damnation is the price he'll pay, for an evil man's desire!
Good, versus evil! The stand to vanquish evil!
Man can only live one way, that place right in the middle.

Chorus

Follow me or die!
Among Among Among Among Among Among Among Among Among Among Among Among!

I was ready to go!

They gave me a forty
And I must have been thirsty
'Cause I drank it so quickly

When I got to the bedroom
There was somebody waiting
And it isnt my fault
That the barbarian raped me

When I went to get tested
I brought along my best friend
Melissa Mahoney
Who had once been molested

And she knew how to get there
She knew all the nurses
They were all really friendly
But the test came back positive

Oh, oh, I've seen better days but I dont care
Oh I just sent a letter in the mail

April 26th, 1992,
there was a riot on the streets,
tell me where were you?
You were sittin' home watchin' your TV,
while I was paticipatin' in some anarchy.

First spot we hit it was my liqour store.
I finally got all that alcohol I can't afford.
With red lights flashin' time to retire,
And then we turned that liquor store into a structure fire.

Next stop we hit it was the music shop,
It only took one brick to make that window drop.
Finally we got our own p.a.
Where do you think I got this guitar that you're hearing today?
Hey!

But really, full 4D is actually kinda cool. I saw Lewis and Clark 4D at the OmniMax (OMSI Imax) when I was (10?), and it was pretty cool. Even though I saw it in only three dimensions (sold out), I liked the 4D sense of Avatar. And now that I think about it, that's the only movie I've seen in a theatre since, so I guess I can't talk that much.

Sorry.

Re wide open spaces: The prairie is really pretty in spring. Plus you don't get so much rain and can see enemies coming for miles. And awesome-looking thunderstorms and loss of life.

On my front: Just finished my last GED test. The multiple choice writing questions cracked me up, while the essay portion was slightly less difficult than I expected.
