Since Google-fu has produced nothing and Archives of Nethys is nigh-unusable, I'll turn once again to FaWtL: Is there a feat or feat chain that allows you to use metamagic feats when using a staff?
Googling shows mysterious references to "some class abilities", but it seems like it would be powerful awesomeness, which is probably why I don't see it anywhere.
Staff Magus archetype, perhaps.

Another way is File --> Save As.. and then in the "Save as type" drop-down where you could select .docx, .doc, .txt, etc. ...you can also select .pdf with the same result. Some versions of Word have "Save as PDF" right beneath "Save As."
Nice! Thank you!

In actually unrelated news (maybe), I had one of the most disappointing gifts from a friend, recently.
There's apparently an actual 5e Legend of Zelda monster manual PDF!
... and almost nothing of it displays correctly on my computer, phone, iDevice, or anything else, regardless of the programs I try. Alas!
(Most of the stat blocks are pushed "down" on a page... off the page... but they never make it to the next page, either, just kind of getting cut off at the name and maybe a few tantilizing hints about what's below.)

If you're not worried about licensing issues, email it to me and I can sic Adobe Acrobat on it. We get Acrobat Pro for work and I get to use it for whatever the heck I feel like, so I might be able to fix it for you.
Just beware digital copyright nonsense; if it's like Paizo and just watermarks stuff, no worries because I have no intention of keeping it. If it's copy-protected in some bizarre way, then we need to hand it back and forth "correctly".
EDIT: I'm pretty sure you have my email, but I'm IM'ing you my corporate one now. No spamming!

The snowblower I use has an issue with the ignition switch, where you have to hold it down all the way and push in slightly otherwise it won't turn off, which I figured out on my own.
I'd tag it for getting fixed but Rocko keeps breaking his blower so I'd rather not overwhelm the mechanic since it runs great otherwise.
So, last run I have a new guy and he tries to turn it off, can't figure it out, so he asks me "how do you turn it off?" "With my mind" I told him "b~$!!" He says, so I reach over and turn it off, and he says "Well, son of a b#%@@!".

I don't recall anything like that in Pathfinder... Staves uses its own spell charges, which are fixed in value, which makes it hard to balance with metamagic feats that modify spells by adjusting their spell slots. I vaguely remember 3.5 having options to boost staves in a similar way though staves worked somewhat differently there), but I have no idea if anything like that was directly ported for Pathfinder.

Okay, so, in 3.5 artificers could add stuff like that to spell completion items which is likely what I was thinking if.
I did find a thread that looked promising but unfortunately it was one from giant in the playground and their entire thread system is down right now. No dice there.
It’s possible the old 3.5 prestige classes have it - the we’ve keeper, or whatever it was called, the one that was devoted to mystery in the weave; the in Kantrex, I think it was, although it’s possible that was only the even older 3.0 version; or that one PRC that I never actually knew called, like, the ruby witch, or something? Anyway, I know it’s not what I was looking for, but I’m kind of out of time and headspace. I can try looking into this a little bit later, but that’s what I got for now. Also, I just realized that in order to find a PM, I need to look at the top of the screen. Ha, Ha. I’m so good at this.

Oh, you can tell it's going to be a great day when you have a 7:00 am meeting, the team hosting the meeting sent out two invites, and the invites had different conference IDs.
So I was sitting there, waiting for anyone else to show up, and my manager asked, "Why aren't you on the meeting?"
"Because the hosts are idiots," was an acceptable response.

Googling shows mysterious references to "some class abilities", but it seems like it would be powerful awesomeness, which is probably why I don't see it anywhere.
To your direct question, not that I'm aware of.
However.
Using Staves: Staves use the wielder’s ability score and relevant feats to set the DC for saves against their spells. Unlike with other sorts of magic items, the wielder can use his caster level when activating the power of the staff if it’s higher than the caster level of the staff. This means that staves are far more potent in the hands of a powerful spellcaster. Because they use the wielder’s ability score to set the save DC for the spells, spells from a staff are often harder to resist than those from other magic items, which use the minimum ability score required to cast the spell. Not only are aspects of the spell dependent on caster level (range, duration, and so on) potentially higher, but spells from a staff are also harder to dispel and have a better chance of overcoming spell resistance.
And...
In 3.5 it was eventually determined (Epic Level Handbook, I believe) that while you didn't directly use your metamagic feats at the time of activating the staff, you could create the staff with metamagic feats applied to the spell in question. So you could have a staff with a maximized cone of cold built in, but not specifically use your maximize spell feat when activating a staff with just a regular cone of cold from it.
So, given that your spell focus feats work normally, your own caster level works normally, historical precedence of allowing altered spells to be used in the construction (and honestly, what's the real difference between using one 8th level spell over a different one in constructing a staff?), I would personally have no issues continuing that with my own campaigns. It's probably technically a house rule, but to me it's a reasonable way of handling it.
EDIT: Also, even though it doesn't expressly mention it, I would allow spell penetration feats and similar abilities (elf racial, traits, etc) to also apply to staves.

In much more serious news, I don’t know if any of you were aware, but Michael Sayre, who now works for Paizo, the poster who used to go by the name Ssalarn, has recently posted a go fund me. His brother-in-law had their home invaded and was shot. Fortunately, it seems like he is out of surgery, and is not in critical condition. Below is a link to a post in the thread where I found out about it. Kind a wish I had mentioned this then.

Probably breaks both FaWtL and Paizo guidelines, but it's really depressing when you're commiserating with a fellow GM about poor AP books, and you find out that they're consistently from a single author who violates so many of the guidelines I posted:
- Has in the as-written tactics of a wizard that he puts a Wall of Force between himself and the party, then casts Fireballs and Lightning Bolts at the party through the Wall of Force
- Treats flight as such an unusual ability that in both books he dedicates significant space to obstacles or fights that become trivial if the party has even one party member who can fly... for 12th-level PCs
- Has, "If the PCs fail at this, they're hosed," moments multiple times throughout both books, with little, "If they do this then write the fix yourself," side comments
- Has many, many, "This completely rational NPC ignores all Diplomacy attempts from the PCs because to allow skills to work normally would derail my plot" moments
Anyway, I'm worried because he's also the author of Shattered Star Book 5, and that AP has been going so swimmingly that I don't want the wheels to fall off in the home stretch.
Ah, well, forewarned is forearmed. I can start reading through it now and figure out how much I have to rewrite.
EDIT: My personal favorite (so far), paraphrased: "If the PCs fail at this (which they likely will), then use the Gazeteer for ideas as to how to add intrigue and encounters and let the PCs continue the AP."
And you dutifully go to the Gazeteer, just to be prepped...
...and it's a description of the geography of the city and 12 notable buildings. That's it. No encounter table. No intrigue. Just, "Here are some buildings."
Er... thanks?
EDIT 2: Yep. p.2 of Shattered Star Book 5 basically says, "I couldn't think of a way to write around this, so I made the entire dungeon an anti-teleportation, anti-scrying area. I'm sure the players will enjoy the added challenge."
Hoo, boy...
(Honestly, my players aren't scry-n-fry types, so it's no big deal for us, but really? Scarwall used Unhallow and Forbiddance to lock things down without having to make stuff up.)

Hoo, boy......
Pretty much. The same author did the final chapter of Kingmaker, and it has a lot of the same issues.
The guy can write flavorful stuff, don't get me wrong, I love his material for that. But he's very much a hack n slash, one way to succeed period writer, and any deviation whatsoever from his base expectations basically means you're instantly in homebrew territory.

His modules are famed for being hard and deadly, as I recall - I think it’s a call back to a slightly older style of adventure writing. He is hailed for it, I think. Has a popular fanbase - probably because it calls upon older styles of play to inform itself. But! That’s just a guess.
(Also, even by shutting them down, he does, at least, address various difficult PC abilities rather than writing a thing that ignores them and is then flabbergasted when they use them; that has to count for something, even if his style doesn’t align to preference!)

Rules question: what is the base formula for an orange prism ious stone?
That is, what is the price for that +1 bonus and how was it derived?
It seems like I should know this. I even kind of remember this conversation once. I cannot find it at all.
That one might be a bit more ad hoc.
Usual formulas for static bonus would be things like "bonus squared times a constant". Slotless items are then doubled.
If that's the case, to get a 30k market value, it would be something like this:
Slotless (the double cost part): 30k/2 = 15k
+1 caster level (bonus squared times a constant): 1*1*15k = the remaining 15k
Again, I don't know that's *exactly* what they did, but it tends to follow the common theme.

Tacticslion |

Also my GM was awesome - I totally diplomacied my way through most of the end of Kingmaker.
(Except for the worm. Pooh to that guy. He’s a puppy, now; so I guess I did kiiiiiind of diplomacy him.)
My character in question actually felt about oozes like freehold suggested above - because they didn’t have a mind and he was a telepath/illusionist. Rough. XD

Yeah that’s the ad hoc formula I first came up with - but it seemed small for what it was, and it leaves me questioning where the 15 came from in the first place. EDIT: to be clear I had been turning this around for a bit before heading to FaWtL. I came up with the “15*weapon” pretty exclusively as a “shirt and swift” joke idea for FaWtL, but this was about the best formula I could come up with. Thanks!
EDIT: I mean, the CL is 12, so that’s not it. It’s just a weird and arbitrary system and with a sample size of exactly one, it’s hard to get a general formula. I just didn’t know if anyone has seen a discussion about it or developer notes on it. Or if they could show me something I’m missing! But having a second person come up with the squared bonus is, at least, a useful metric to ensure that I wasn’t way off base for some reason.
