Tired. Waiting on Friday. 3am wakeup call tomorrow, so 5.5 hrs to go. And I'm trying to get other junk done. In other words, typical life.

Woohoo! Twelve hours in the office today, and I get to be on a plane flying to Gen Con twelve hours from now. That trip will take something like... twelve hours!*

Then I believe I will sleep for twelve hours.

Yeah, I think nature has pretty much thrown in the towel. Can't complain too much about t-shirt weather in the middle of winter though.

Especially given the number of women I have seen in very short skirts and long boots today. Mmmmm.

Pretty good mate. It is an unseasonably warm Winter's day, already half way through Friday here, and game night tonight.

I've had a pretty busy couple of weeks at work, so have been taking it a bit easy so far today ... can't really afford to, but hell, it's Friday (and I'll probably be here in the office at some point over the weekend anyway).

Don't forget to act all furtive when you get to the airport. Maybe wear a long trench coat and mutter to yourself constantly. The security people love that sort of thing.

-1. Unless you like GenCon more than you dislike the 12 hours.

Sure, in fact I once slept for 18 hours straight. Of course I was recovering from severe bronchitis and on all kinds of medication. And any medicine, even aspirin or ibuprofen, makes me very sleepy.

That tears it. This is the final piece of evidence needed to show that we're all the worse of the Soviets losing the Cold War.

Good to hear you're taking it slow today. you need it once in a while. Since it's about 7pm where you are at if I am cyphering it correctly, I hope you had a good day =)

Yeah busy here, long hours, but it's payday and hopefully I can get a bikeride in before I am forced back home (one of my daughter's nurses decided to up and quit-leaves us with some bad scheduling conflicts.)

My other daughter is getting her first tattoo tomorrow, and I have to drive her to her appointment. I already gave her money towards it, but I have a sinking feeling that when the bill comes, she's going to come up short and then try and beg me to make up the difference. =( Not to happy with that scenario. But of course with the blithe assurance of a teenager, she expects someone to swoop in and take care of things for her. I'm tempted to tell her to piss off just to teach her a lesson, but I'll probably moderate it to a 'There goes your Christmas present then'.

Well, Sara thought it would be really funny to hide a knife in Gary's carry-on, never thinking that he'd end up tasered by an overzealous TSA agent. Meanwhile, Vic and Lisa were forced to spend the night in the hotel lobby due to their room being infested by giant cockroaches. And, across town, James and Jason were shocked to learn that a group of LARPers had.....No, wait! That's my soap opera.
