Also, happy bdae John. As your bdae present, I'll take this one for you.

Anyway yesterday at the gym I was down to my undies. I mean I was running late for gym class and there was a whole long queue to the toilets. So I went to a quiet corner, said screw it, and changed into my gym attire.

So, what does it say about you when you get an email from Paizo saying, "Your next battlecase subscription is about to be shipped" and your immediate reaction is, "D*** it, Shiro! What did you DO!??! Where am I going to put all that stuff?"

Shiro. Filling people's houses with unwanted nonsense for decades.

You see, I'm Asian so being naked in the locker room makes me feel awkward. It's not about body shape(though that certainly helps), but it's about Asian culture that you should not be changing in front of people.

I was nekkid in the hotsprings in Japan, but that was because everyone was starkers too. Besides I didn't have my glasses on(they'd just fog up anyway) so there wasn't too much I could see either.

My stomach is too fat(and maybe got a little fatter from too many mooncakes), and you know it isn't muscular/toned or anything. But I'd say I'm reasonably fit due to my numerous attempts to lose weight.

Some of it is actually helpful when you need to move stuff, or get from one place to another in something faster then a walk, though I know it's undignified as heck to be running in office shoes and a dress. Again if things need to be done, dignity be damned.

I'm still a bit flabbergasted at a nudity taboo in a gym locker room.

They're lucky I'm Lawful enough not to just change in the foyer.

There's nothing wrong being naked in a gym locker room, unless you're Asian =) Then you believe that changing should be done in a room where you're alone.

I sort of take the route, if it bothers you, don't look, for everyone(mostly Caucasians) who changes in the locker room.

...runs into Mort's locker room. Changes. Chuckles at her curses about the d**ned Caucasians. Trots off...

You see, males put on muscle more easily due to higher testorone levels, blah blah, so if you really want to get toned and have your muscles showing as a female, you have to put in a LOT of effort. Like serious weight lifting, I'm not sure if you'd need to take any protein shakes or something.

Me? I just wanted to lose some weight so I could fit into my fancy dresses. So I'm definitely not going to go that route, though I think diet plays a bigger role in losing weight as opposed to exercising, since you can only squeeze so many hours for exercise during the day.

I don't even curse. It happens too often, and I recognize everyone has the freedom to change where they want. However since you're a male in a female changing room...

*starts caterwauling*

"There's this weird guy who went into the wrong changing room!"

Question: Would Hi have issues changing in the gym locker room?

Grey streaks add character…right?

So...
You're not a snow leopard?!
You're a panther?!
(Which is funnily enough, if I remember correctly, a leopard if found in Africa & Asia or a Jaguar if found in Central or Southern America)

I find heavy lifting in high temperatures is an excellent way of getting in shape.

Sorry, Mort. It's not until next Tuesday. Or October 2nd, if you prefer.

Curses!!! Caught in my panty pilfering!

*Throws a smoke bomb at his feet*

Phantom Burglar away!!!

Problem is I don't get a white streak like rogue from X-men. I'm still wondering if I did get one, would I leave it? Maybe. Looks kinda cool.

I don't think we have panthers here. Jaguars yes. Or least no panthers in Singapore and Malaysia. Supposedly in Taman Negara there was a chance to see a clouded leopard.

But CY, I'm a lazy desk bound pen pusher =)

The Exchange

Sorry I misread this part:

Or, as I like to think of it, my third 17th birthday.

jogging helps with that.

please tell shiro I said hello.

Also tell him I have a distinct lack of Master Grade Mobile Suit Gundam model kits and star wars snowspeeder model kits from the same company.

Strangely, I am not into ecchi model kits.

There is a glitch where it's sending these out to people that haven't been subscribed for years.

I honestly have no idea. You DID go on a hike with him. How often do you think he goes to the gym?

So yeah, never been swimming/gymming/whatever with him, so it's never come up.

Your birthday isn't for three more months. There are two major holidays and four family birthdays (Mei Mei, mother-in-law, grandmother, mother) between now and then.

Not at all (on the gym). He told us he was essentially living out of his car/workshop. But I'm guessing he'll also go to the changing room like good Asians do.

And since he always wears the same outfit, I'm not certain he ever takes his clothes off.

You're thinking of my dad. As far as I can tell, Hi has at least 2 pairs of pants and 3 shirts that he wears. And that one vest.

I have two pairs of pants, but I only wear them in winter.

So what's it like to have a senior in high school these days?

For his senior pictures, they wanted $110 just to take the pictures.

So, we shelled out and I'll freely admit, they're good, professional-quality photos. Which I'd expect at $110/hour.

Today we went to the web site to order some photos. I kid you not. To get just the CD of the photos is $400. If you want four 5"x7" prints, that's $84.

Impus Major's response? "Screw those guys! We'll just download the watermarked versions and not give them one red cent!"

I love my son.

EDIT: Unfortunately, working in tech, I know darned well I'd be logging session info 24/7 and monitoring for EXACTLY such downloads. And since you have to log in to see the pictures, you're hosed. So now it's pay the bastards to save some memories, or stiff 'em 'cause they don't deserve a red cent for the prices they're charging.

Streaked Mort would probably look really cool!

As for your belly and fitting into those fancy dresses…
I don't wanna stick my turtle foot in my mouth, and yes there are far too many expectations about how women should look, and as such its hard for me, a beer-bellied, unhealth and lazy turtle not to sound...well...somewhat flippant.
I guess I just want you to kind of see you from my perspective.
You exercise.
You think about what you eat.
You're doing much more for yourself then this lazy turtle could even dream off doing for himself.

*Waddles over and gives Mort a fluff and a nuzzle*

Really in my eyes you're going above and beyond.

*Yawns*

Now I think its time for this turtle to turn in for the night.

Nighty night everyone!

*Waddles over besides Mort's basket, spins around himself a couple of times, before retreating into his cover-shell*

It's going to get down to the low 70's here tomorrow.
I'm torn as to whether to wear a light sweater or a moto jacket in celebration. Maybe a flannel.
Is it too early for pumpkin spice?
I hate pumpkin spice crap. But I feel like ordering one anyhow.
HIGH OF 74, M***********S!

I'm fairly certain we won't hit 70 again until next May.

Uh, if you don't get digital version of those photo what have you paid for in the first place?!

She's right men keep making new muscle tisuse up into their 30's while women pretty much stop making new muscle tissue towards the end of their teens. So instead you have to strengthen what you go.

The photo session itself was $110.

Had I had any idea that they were going to charge FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS FOR A FRICKING CD, I wouldn't have even bothered with the shoot.

Running downhill/flat surfaces is so good for ego boosting. Trying to jog up Mt Faber I couldn't do the whole way and the parts I did I was slowed to a crawl, but running downhill - I pretty much did except for the stairs since I don't run down stairs for safety. Going up took 30 min, down, 13 min...

Yay gravity.

The Exchange

LM, why do you want to order Pumpkin spice if you hate it?

^^ hmm yes what she said? Now I'm curious too.

It's a white girl thing.

The Exchange

Is it a festival thing, or sugar cravings? Also PBP pace is less hectic now so yeah should have more time here.

I'd like to say that trying to run the Defect and getting basically NO orb cards is really annoying. I just managed to somehow beat the first boss, and my deck has exactly 3 orb cards in it. 1 Zap, 1 Ball Lightning, and 1 Static Discharge. I don't expect to last much longer.

I made a 3x win condition druid deck in hearthstone Its fun. not as effective as I would of thought but still fun.

And I just died.

^Grans last words^ he will be missed. (by someone probably.)

The bank might miss my mortgage payments. That counts, right?

Depends if they can somehow pass it on to a relative. Banks are jerks.

The Exchange

Yeah. We'll miss you gran. Especially Vidmaster7. Yeah defect is all about orbs. I still can't clear acension level 4 on defect. You really need to build your deck structure fast on higher acensions, to cover defense and offense adequately.
