Now this shows promise !!

Liberty's Edge 1/5

Finally my faction revealed! I've had a character concept for a matador-looking Taldorian bard for quite some time now. Can't wait until the char creation guidelines are released.

I'm in for Taldor!

Grand Lodge 3/5

Man, I thought I would go Aldoran, but Taldor sounds very cool. I'm going to have to think about this.

Sovereign Court

It's about time we got a faction with a sense of Realpolitik!

Make Mine Taldor!

Ditto Herald...

Liberty's Edge

This is indeed an intriguing option. Hmm. Hey Paizo staffers, can one player have multiple characters all working for different factions? I'd like to kill the same Chelaxians as a representative of all four other factions, just to be sure.

You can have multiple characters but oh boy level progression would be slooooooooow. Once you've played a scenario, you can't play it again.

What about DMs and DMing scenarios?

GMs can run the same scenario multiple times. (Personally, I'd love it if certain GMs were known for being particularly awesome running specific scenarios.)

That would be awesome. It would be like the old Kung Fu Schools.

Your Frozen Fingers of Midnight is good honorable GM...but it cannot defeat my Silent Tide! :-)

Liberty's Edge 1/5

As long as there's enough scenarios for those who end up DMing primarily can still play =p

Taldor have Linnorm mercenaries very much based on the Varangian Guards of Constantinople. Will these be a playable option? Please?

Also, is it possible to be a GM and still play scenarios that you haven't run?

We'll release 28 scenarios per year and, eventually, the GameMastery/Pathfinder modules will also count toward PFS.

The math on this is pretty basic: if you GM a scenario, you can't play it. If you play a scenario, you can GM it. If you have two or more characters and play Scenario #1 with Character #1, you cannot play Scenario #1 with Character #2, #3, etc.

This will result in some folks being mostly full-time GMs an that's pretty unavoidable.

Why am I not surprised to learn that Taldor insisted on having a "Go" thread with double the exclamation points of all the others. (sigh) : )

We did it first
We did it better

Run Vic! I happen to know that Nick's gloves make a loud rubber snapping sound when he puts them on!

Indeed, Taldor shall rise again! What once was, shall forevermore be.

Technically, it's a pretty safe bet that Osirion did it first. we are so much older, after all. In fact, we're so old that not only did we do it first, but we are now digging it up again because it was better then what's there now.

hehe, it's true. Faction smack-talk is great!

Chief among Osirion firsts: Stood by while their civilization died. Something Taldorans do not intend to do.

Indeed not, Arragus. Taldor's light will once more shine over all the races of Avistan. Not to mention Osirion and Qadira, as well!

Sovereign Court

Remember this my Pathfinder friends, Taldor's light shall shine again. Neither shall our honor be lent nor our will be bent. The weakness you sense, is merely a dent, not all our ancient power has been spent. We're a new generation of Taldorian might, looking ahead to a future so bright you shall not be want'n to pick yer'selves a fight. So join our side, where modern time heroes reside. History has spoken and it never has lied, "Nothing can contain this Taldorian tide".

Sovereign Court

*sniffle* That was beautiful.

"Devil lickers"? That's so uncouth. The more accurate term is...Master.

Grand Lodge 1/5

The faction feats for our soon-to-be revived Empire are great. Poisoner is right up my alley, maybe some chelish devil-lovers will be as well. Muwahah!

Our nation will resume its rightful place in due time. The Andoran peasants can't hold out for long before they need a firm, clean hand to guide their squalid country. But before we begin our reconquista, I must powder my wig and polish my sword; the servants have been slacking as of late. And we shan't start until next week. We wouldn't want to miss the Contessa's ball, now would we?
