They are a crutch for you, Freehold, you can have more fun without them.
Also they wouldn't let us view porn.

I can let you use my Alaskan Ninjas. They are quite capable, because everyone knows Ninjas are COOL. :)

If by "different" you mean "none" then yes.

Today I blacked out two moves in to my test for red belt at tae kwon do. I spent the rest of the class with my legs propped up[ so I could get well enough to drive home.
Then I foolishly tried to do an errand I've been putting off for a week because I wasn't up to out. I got home and realized I had forgotten half of what I went there for. >.<
I hate days like this, that totally wreck the fiction that I am okay. I know I'm not okay, but dammit I don't want it to be common knowledge. :/

Thanks for the hugs and sympathy. :)
I know that bad days happen. And they happen more often when I insist on doing things that are outside my current capabilities, like tae kwon do, but I'm stubborn and I keep trying to pretend that I have no limits. And sometimes life has to hit me upside the head to remind me that I do. I will no doubt feel less frustrated about that tomorrow. ^.^

Hugs! And empathy!
We're not 21 anymore, and, regardless of what you think is old or young, that does make a difference, physically! Be careful, and we care about you, sister!

These problems started when I was like ten or eleven. If we are equating age and physical ability and resilience then I don't know what young feels like. I have lost count of the number of times in my life someone has said wait until you're older and x happens and I've been like oh I've been dealing with x for years. On the bright side age holds no fear for me. It's just more of the same. Life with chronic illness can get a little surreal at times because like it or not you miss out on a lot of common experiences people tend to assume you understand. :)

So... what you're saying... is you're basically super hard-core, and if you didn't struggle with this nonsense always keeping you down, you'd basically be an unstoppable super-force that would destroy all who dare stand against you?!
Whew!

How's it going!
How's life, how are the new digs, did you have an excellent holiday season.
With every blessing there comes a burden, I wanted a new job and I got it. I have been super busy at work. I have a tendency to throw myself fully into a job. Other than that life is great, I love my place and the holidays were great. How bout you

Anime's Got Talent - already linked, but I've a question attached. Anyone know who the guy in the white suite with a violin is, who appears shortly after the debut of the almost-winner (the blonde girl with a white-dress who also plays violin) at ~1:52?
I don't think he appears again, but I'm curious what anime it's from, how family-friendly that anime is, and if it could be used to encourage my son in his general pursuit of that thing.
(He's having fun, right now, but it's nice to have stuff to show him to stoke interest.)
EDIT: blarg, time fixed. >.>
EDIT 2: may or may not be the same guy as here at 4:48.
E3: Erk! Even this cool thing that I just discovered failed me! XD

Similarly, any anime featuring guys playing the violin could be cool.
Black Butler need not apply (as I've already seen that one... also it's not something I'd show my son, but my wife and I enjoyed it).

I've been missing him, too!
Alas, I don't know how he's been.
I haven't heard!
:/
I hope that he comes back soon - I've not actually had the chance to chat with him since he more or less "left" - I know that he was having an emotionally rough time (as he does), and had to step down from GMing, and, from very personal experience, I know how intimidating it can be to "come back" after things like that, especially when you really want to re-gear yourself up to play those games again, but struggle to find the energy and positivity to do so.
When I went through that (though I don't have the same legitimate excuses he does), I know I was very embarrassed and found it difficult to show myself, much, for a bit.
I hope he doesn't experience that, though - I'd just like to see him again, and the games, though awesome and fun, are distinctly distant concerns, compared to my friend hanging out with me. :D
(Yeah, this is talking to you a little bit, TGTG: I heart you, my brother, and want you back. I'll be fine with dropping whatever, just hang with us, again, when you can. It's totally cool.)
Hopefully, it's just business, though. That, too, can be a crusher, and get you out of habits you'd rather have (like hanging out on forums).
