And we've gotten about 4 inches of snow on the ground here in Podunk, TN. Highly irregular. I was still in elementary school when last I recall snowfall of similar depth. Hooray!! Winter!!!

I know! It's been wonderful to have days that have barely broken 80 degrees here lately -- post-Harvey cold snap, as it were; a heavily-tarnished silver lining, but silver nonetheless --, and that means . . . . >.> <.<

I'm having to act like I'm excited that it's 42 degrees out here. A bit brisk when you're driving UTVs around in short sleeves, but . . . . Well, let's just say that I'm almost feeling another alias coming on -- something like Syrus Terrigan's Climate Change Despair. These past two winters here have been ludicrously un-cold. That's not too political a thing to say, right?
Even symbolic stand-ins have power, John. Just ask Harry Dresden. Besides -- I offed this guy a couple weeks back, and I need to get some use out of him. And I can off the "real deal" once he gets back from vacation.
We're getting a "swamp deposit" here in SW TN. Weather rolls in --> makes its deposit --> turns everything into a swamp.
I think your weather dominator is broken. And I don't like that. Not one bit.
Perhaps a good book? Even if I have to reread something -- a good story always helps shut my thoughts up long enough for me to get through those wonderful, quiet, and all-too-rare extended periods of solitude. Otherwise, . . . well, let's just say it's better this way.

In other news: best we've done here in west TN is *maybe* upper twenties -- I think Memphis caught a 31-degree low, and we're usually 2-3 degrees cooler out here in the boonies. Half-a$$ed winter 'round here . . . . But!! People are wearing gloves and hoodies and coats and such at work, and cussing me for still being in my customary jeans/cargos and a t-shirt. Muuhuuwaahahahahahahhahahaaaaaa. :D
I only see snow on TV. ;-; :( No 500-lb birds here, but our deer crossings handle weigh-ins at about that rate. But then you get to tack on the weight of the vehicle involved. Ah, the whitetail deer -- deadliest animal on the North American continent.
