I am the exact same way:-)The toughest part about all of this is the way I come across. I am such a mellow, even person, so when I tell people I got engaged they say, "You don't seem excited."
This is my excited face. Life is hard when you're an introvert.

I always have the time of my life with CH because he is almost always the straight man.

Since it came up...I proposed to my wife in January under an oak tree that still had little icicle lights so it looked like I proposed under falling stars ^_^ The park always does Christmas lights and their is a big oak tree that was their when Florida was first settled by the Spanish and they put these little icicle lights on it. All th other lights had been taken down except those.
The front yard and the back jungle have been mowed. The mutant carnivorous crab grass has been beaten down. ...for now.
We'll be back! we always come back! Mwahahahahaha!!!!!!

I worked on the "threats" for the main book, and I designed the encounters for the playtest.

Nice! my daughter has already adopted a couple Pilo she found rooting through the dump, my dwarf has a Numerian fluid addiction, the problem is, the three f$+!ing times he drank it he got "smells like shit no matter what for 24 hours" no one lets him stay in town. so he's had to build a shanty in the dump:-)

The joys of Mediterranean skin I don't wear stupid sunscreen worked 4 years as a life guard and never wore it.

My grandmother is probably going to die soon. She's been on a respirator for the last month, and today she got rushed into the ICU with an intestinal bleed and had most of her colon removed. She's got an artificial heart valve, so she can't go off blood thinners, meaning she's still bleeding and the doctors can't really staunch it. Her liver, heart, lungs, and kidneys are ruined by decades of alcoholism, perscription drug abuse, smoking, and obesity, which hinders her odds of recovery greatly. She's awake and lucid, but she's more likely than not going to die soon, and if she lives, she'll need 24 hour care for the rest of her life.
I feel weird right now. I'm not sad. I don't care about losing her. She beat my mother and her uncle, routinely got drunk or high and then neglected to feed her children, brought home boyfriends who were straight up dangerous, sided with the boyfriend of hers who assaulted my mother. constantly tore down my mother's self esteem and reminded her she was nothing, and maintained up until I broke contact six years ago that she was in the right with how she raised her kids. I used to want her to die in the most horrific agony imaginable for everything she did to my mother and uncle, and now she is (She's awake and lucid, but can't take painkillers bexause her heart is too weak.). Yet now that I got that wish, I don't want it anymore, and feel ashamed that I ever wanted it. I don't like her, I have no interest in seeing her, and I don't feel any sorrow at the prospect of her dying, but at the same time I have no wish for her to be in pain now that she is. It isn't going to heal any of my mother or uncle's wounds or make anybody get any justice, it just panders to a sense of bloodlust that serves no useful purpose.
I feel like a naughty child learning an important lesson right now.

I have pasty Irish skin and live in California, but I don't wear sunscreen because it makes me itch like crazy.
Despite a whole childhood in California, I think I had much worse issues with sunburns in Montana than anywhere else.

You have my sympathies. ~sad sigh~ The joy of learning that someone else getting their just reward does not solve a damn thing for anyone except for leading to even more suffering. It is a lesson I still am trying to learn. Good luck, Rosita.
