It's been one of those days. I made the coffee wrong and then I forgot it in the car so it was cold by the time I got it. But I still drank it. Cause I needed coffee that bad. I knew it was not going well when I just sat and stared at my computer for a minute trying to remember what the hell button I was supposed to push next. Logging on is just not that hard.

And it's a very good thing I don't have force choke. The girl who sits in front of me and just won't stop talking has the brain power of a slightly dim puppy and I was just not very amused by it today."I just don't understand why they keep doing experiments on stuff. Haven't they already found out everything by now?" *hits head on wall*

I need chocolate.

IT'S FRIDAY!!!!!!

<enjoys sounds effects--scratches fingernails down the chalkboard>

Lynora: I'm reheating coffee in the microwave. That's how lazy and parsimonious I am on this Friday before Spring Break.

Yay! Emergency chocolate! :)

The kidlet is still puzzled by the concept of emergency chocolate. I carry a chocolate bar in my purse and he still can't fathom what sort of emergency requires chocolate no matter how many times I explain. I think I finally ended up saying it was in case of dementor attack. ;P

AHAHAHA!

Well, it's better than letting coffee go to waste. :)

After all, even bad coffee is better than no coffee.

Yeah, Fridays don't excite me. I study on Fridays. Tests are usually on Saturday. I get to spend my evening trying to rememorize muscles and finish memorizing an essay on the neuromuscular junction.

The closest thing I'll get to a break is reading a couple chapters from the Battle of the Labyrinth to the kidlet. We're making good progress through it. Only one more book in the series after this one. And then we shall move on, most likely to the Prydain Chronicles.

I can taste the embittered tannins, but it's still drinkable.

Bad coffee is better than no coffee, except when it is so bad he makes me want to do Horrible Things (reference, earlier faculty lounge coffee comment.)

Not this Friday! This Friday is the Friday before my Birthday and, as is custom, no tests or studying shall be done. In fact, Monday (my actual birthday) has been declared a (non)official holiday and everyone is encouraged to stay home and watch Firefly, cook an Alton Brown recipe and play Dragon Age II.

So say we all.

Its Saturday and I am going in to work :-(

As people are going on holiday I will have to put in a lot of extra hours to keep us on top of the project....

I guess I should probably go fetch the kidlet. Hopefully he wasn't too awful today. He was good yesterday and that never happens twice in a row.

If you're coming over, can you give me a few minutes to clean and prepare the death-ray? Cuz the place is a mess. I do have some home-made trail mix available while you wait, however.

We're centaurs, not rams, although Aries is one of our staunchest allies in the zodiac. Considering that I am the last day of sagittarius, I always thought I would more be a bariaur than a centaur.
