It is not the right moment for asking people to be observant.
Merry Christmas all. I hope Santa brought you some nice gifts. I got the complete Star Trek animated series, so I am going to geek out and watch some of those bad boys.

I also got the best gift of all, surprising and delighting my wife with a present she wasn't expecting but that she loved. That made up for the s&$+ sundae of Christmas Eve.
Merry Christmas FAWTLY Folk! I hope everyone has an awesome holiday!

Merry Christmas all. Yay for Dr Who pathos (after a rcoky start to the special).

A merry Christmas to all and a pic for your momentary amusement
I watched Iron Man. Yes, the first one. Nice movie. The whole thing about the reactor protecting his heart from fragments in his body instead of removing them with superior technology available was a terrible stretch but otherwise it was a decent movie.
Robert Downey Jr was snarky, Pepper was cute and Bridges was good as well. I must admit that I did not recognized Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper, though.

Family, fun, good food, cool presents, and delicious beer. Another kick ass Christmas over and done.
And, of course, the obligatory viewing of A Christmas Story on TBS.
OK, so it was actually multiple viewings... But, hey! They show it 24 hours straight! Wouldn't you watch it multiple times?
But we made sure to get in a good bit of John Wayne as well.
Now we're hosting my sister-in-law and her friend. They arrived this evening from New Orleans, and are gonna stay a few days.

I hope everyone had a great Christmas ( or still has in Countries with 3 days of christmas like Germany)
today we had breakfast with my Dad and will have coffee and dinner with my Mum
Aberzombie wrote: And, of course, the obligatory viewing of A Christmas Story on TBS. I did watch some christmas classics as well over the last days:
Little Lord Fauntleroy with Alec Guiness
Scrooged with Bill Murray (and Groundhog Day as well)
Weihnachten bei den Hoppenstets a german satire by Loriot
Sabine did watch a bit of Drei Hasselnüsse für Aschenbrödel a classic czech version of Cinderella that every german girl since the 60s watches at christmas
at the moment I do watch In the Shoes of the Fisherman
So sick... I think Christmas dinner poisoned me.
Treppa wrote: So sick... I think Christmas dinner poisoned me. get well soon, Treppa
I hope it is not really a food poisoning?
Treppa wrote: So sick... I think Christmas dinner poisoned me. Eeeh, Sorry to hear that.
Mom and I ate out. The new York Steak was delicious.

Hello.
Going to check local shops for reduced price computers.
Otherwise, good morning FAWTLY Folk! Happy Thursday! Kind of, sort of.
It's the day after Christmas and I'm at work, so how happy can it really be?

Ah yes, now begins the time of the after Christmas sale. Good stuff. My brother and his wife had purchased a new side dish warmer/tray for yesterday, and I liked it so much, I may try to find it at Walmart this weekend. Maybe it'll be on sale if they have any left.
On the one hand I'm right there with you AZ (or will be in an hour or so). On the other, tonight is Kingmaker night, and the last one of those before the campaign goes on hiatus for January, so I can't be too soured =)

One other thing that's making me really just not want to be at work is that I seem to be just on the edge of developing a cold. Again. All this stoopid flip flopping weather.
But it could be worse, weather wise. I feel for those who lost power over the last week or so from all those craptastic snow storms.

Can we blame Freehold for that?

I need to get back to prepping Council of Thieves for the interim.
promptly returns to searching for a coelacanth in Animal Crossing
Vegas was unusually warm for Christmas. That is all.
Was it in the 90s instead of the 80s? :P
