Today is the day I ran a medication group using thr hyperbole and a half comic shown to me by orthos and others here. There were more than a few panels that hit home, and while people didn't get as into it as I did (I'm used to it...) it made for a great group. Thanks everyfawtl.
truly.

Credit to Allie Brosh/Hyperbole and a Half if you share it elsewhere.
Glad to hear everything went over well FH.

I'm not sure exactly what my KM group will be doing Saturday just yet. They spent the last two sessions dealing with Puck, so I imagine some bit of dealing with the fallout from that. He still "owes" several people in the party for entertaining him and dealing with the Colour out of Space he had locked in his back yard.

Group task we were given: we are a UN committee during a nuclear Third World War. One of the bunkers with ten people has supplies that will last only for half of the time they'll need to spend there. We will have to decide which five person will live and which not basing our choices upon incomplete records:
Survivors:
- 16 year old girl, elementary school, no job, drug-user.
- 25 yo priest who is factory worker.
- 35 yo woman, medical doctor.
- 32 yo homosexual male, Nobel-prize winning biochemist and pharmacologist.
- 30 yo male cop.
- 42 yo famous musician.
- movie star, can sing and dance.
- 48 yo male miner.
- Olympic athlete.
- terrorist who is student of law.

Yep, especially since they also look for applicants to think out of the box.

Woman doctor was instant pick. Homosexual Nobel-prize winner too, but there were a comment or two from women present that "maybe the circumstances make him change/cure him". *roll eyes*
Athlete was picked as healthy and in good physical condition. Then there were discussion about whom else pick. There were overwhelming support for priest (he's worker so he's fit and will be useful! he'll be providing moral support*) so he got in despite my preference for cop instead.
About half of the group voiced support for the young girl, despite her addiction with two people voicing strong opposition (she'll be useless, she'll bring HIV to the newly rebuilt community) but she passed due to need for women.
Cop wasn't trusted by people despite my suggestion - he was noted to have gun and people were afraid that he'll go nuts and shot everybody.
*one of the men insisted that the future society should need have spiritual guidance because people without faith are worthless. I barked on him that he goes too far and he backed off.
