Sorry to hear about that. I myself woke up 10 minutes before my alarm clock was going to ring.

I have no idea why I did that or how, but I lost a precious 10 minutes I could have used to sleep more!!

I always wake up 10 minutes before alarm, AND I LOVE IT, you wake up by yourself not by a shrill alarm, have 10 minutes to get yourself together and leave the bed refreshed

I know it will be a tired day if the alarm clock jump-starts you harshly into the day

Normally if I don't have the alarm, I sleep waaaaay in. When I'm not working or otherwise restrained by a schedule, my sleep schedule auto-adjusts itself to 2-10 AM. I'm wired for a second-shift job.

I get by being up earlier thanks to significant influx of caffeine.

Also, heading off to the otaku cafe right after work. Hopefully they got the maids there this time.

Seems they've been taking a break lately due to the entry exams to University and all. Oh, and for an evening walk after the cafe.

WHERE DO YOU LIVE?

On the right continent.

like berchtesgaden Salzburg was indipended until the time of Napoleon, ruled by an Lord-Archbishop.
Salzburg, as the name (Saltcastle) suggests, became rich through salt mining and salt merchants, Keep Highsaltcastle is one of the biggest castles in europe

Salzburg is the birthplace of composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

John let slip that one of his favorite restaurant entrees is beef wellington. I happen to have a recipe, and his birthday is Monday.

Does that make me the best boyfriend in the world, or utterly insane for contemplating this pastry-encased culinary monstrosity?

yes. Also, I've never had beef Wellington.
Neither had I. It looks... Interesting. And yummy.

In honesty, neither had I. I tend not to gravitate towards red meat (steaks and such) but I had to admit that this was pretty tasty. And the sauce which had simmered all afternoon was intense. Intensely delicious. John loved it.

And get this. John's mother told him she is too intimidated to cook for me. That just tickles me to death. Isn't it usually the case that someone is afraid to cook for their in-laws, not the other way around?

There were dream, yeah, not one even. Still, as usual I only remember only fragments. There was flying, there was riding a car with police, there were places I know and some that I don't.

I had an unpleasant dream where I heard a noise, went to check it out, found that the light switch was not working, spotted an intruder, and couldn't scream.

I could have done without that.

After it woke me up, I couldn't fall back asleep because I kept hearing noises and I was too "on edge".

Intimidated? Should we assume that she considers your cooking so good that she is afraid that she can't compare to you or are there other reasons?

I had dreams like that when I was younger.

Yes. She feels like her cooking will fall short. And she is a retired home economics teacher, so it's not as if she doesn't know what she's doing.

I like to cook, but I don't think I'm that good. You'd think she was cooking for Gordon Ramsay or something.

Meat baked in pastry... Does this qualify as beefcake?

Hmmm, a bit rubbery... Wait, what you mean those were photos and not crepes?!

I need a photo of myself for my CV. The question is, where I can get one cheapest suitable for applications... Digital only, I have no need for physical copy.

Had a nice trip to visit my parents this weekend. Jude seems to be warming up to new people better now. Except for the kids, he instantly warms up to the cousins.

Pet, friend, or SO?

I'm out of the loop on who everyone's off-forum connections are except for the most recent posters <_<

RPG Superstar 2012

Jude is Justin's son.

And hey, penguins are cool =)

Wernk!

Oh my gosh a penguin! Can I hug it?

Definitely sleep.

Ouch, my left eye hurts when I look on anything moderately bright, including screen. I wonder if it will last for two or three days as it did before. *sigh*

Spent the majority of the evening doing Kingdom Building (which involved a lot of random item rolling, as the group has a Market and a Caster Tower now) and catching up with my ex-roommate in the army, who's stateside one leave until either today or tomorrow. So admittedly wasn't much for foruming last night >_>

We need just a little bit of motivation.

And no aching eyes.
