Morning, all. What did I miss?
Well, Scott found a visit to the doctor in order after being punched in the duodenum by a cranky elderly person.

And I'll do it again!

wohoo eventing (strange name for sport, the german term Vielseitigkeitsreiten is much more precise)

Hi BP

Evening at my end, not morning

I am doing well, how is your move coming along?

Damn German, we wanted that gold! ;)

Here's hoping Sabine's nerve gets unpinched, though.

Quote:

Scint: But yeah. Never seen a Superman movie

not all the way through
Orthos: Never seen one at all.
Never been a great fan of Superman really.
Scint: He's less fun than batman
Orthos: Just never interested. Never got into Lois and Clark or Smallville when my parents watched both.
Scint: >_>
never heard of lois and clark
Orthos: Superman as a soap opera, basically
Scint: .......
Ok, superhero soap operas sound like a wonderland of untapped potential for hilarity
"What makes you so sure it's my kid?" "Well, for one thing, Admiral Airtime, HE CAN ******* FLY"
>_>

Let's see how much better/worse FAWTL can make this.

Oh, come on. That is hardly the worst idea I've thrown at you. Today.

a very important olympic sport (because we won)

also known as horse trails or combined training, it is dresage, cross country riding and show jumping, germany won gold with the team and single,
the queens granddaugther won silver with the british team

It's one of those weird events that's left over from when the games were a bit more militaristic.

Like modern pentathlon.

<rubs hands deviously>

Well, if you can get a badge, it would be great.

Nighty, night everyone. We should be up and running on all 8 cylinders tomorrow.

Argh! I was trying to wait until there were 1001 new posts, but alas, it got to 1002.
