Focus spell is a new mechanic in the game that use focus point and you are able to recharge it with a 10 minutes activity. So I curious, what is your favorite focus spell for now?
I am between two in the core book:
Embrace the Pit Focus 3
Devil horns grow from your skull, and your skin takes on features of the devil responsible for your diabolic bloodline. You gain resistance 5 to evil, fire, and poison, and resistance 1 to physical damage (except silver). You can take good damage, even if you aren't evil, and you gain weakness 5 to good damage.Heightened (+1) The resistance to evil, fire, and poison increases by 5, the resistance to physical damage (except silver) by 2, and the weakness to good damage by 5.
This one is interesting, at max level when you are able to cast lvl 10 spells this gives 40 Resistance to Fire, Poison and Evil, 15 Physical Resistance and give 40 weakness to good as well. Solid defenses but if you take even 1 good damage I hope that you are ready to take 40 more.
Appearance of Wealth Focus 1
You create a brief vision of immense wealth filling the spell's area. Each creature within 20 feet of the area that could be enticed by material wealth must attempt a Will saving throw. A creature that enters the area automatically disbelieves the illusion, and disbelieving the illusion ends any fascinated condition imposed by the spell. As long as you Sustain the Spell, other creatures react to the treasure like they would any other illusion, but they are not at risk of becoming fascinated.Critical Success The creature disbelieves the illusion and is unaffected by it.
Success The creature is fascinated by the wealth until it has completed its first action on its next turn.
Failure The creature is fascinated by the illusion.
What can I say, I just loved when Erik Mona used it.

Personally, the Illusion thing still doesn't feel quite Abadaran, an extradimensional space you can store real wealth seem more on-brand, and it could enable quickly wielding any item within for any ally within 20' range. Storage fee for convenience, of course. Not really ANTI-Abadaran either, to be clear.

Champion's Hero's Defiance. About to die? Just yell SCREW YOU! Seriously, it only has a verbal component, so I'm pretty sure that's how it works. It's not even a reaction, it's a free action. Just heal yourself 10d4+20 HP (avg 45) as a free action and keep fighting. Of course, you need to be 19th level, and you can't use it again until you refocus, even if you had a second point. A 19th level champion would have 200-260 HP or so.
Lay on Hands is cool too. I like the bonus AC, and the associated art.
The Air Domain's Disperse Into Air is pretty fun. Reaction upon taking damage to just turn into air and be invulnerable until the start of your turn.
Word of Truth: Speak the truth, and have the deity of truth stamp their seal on it.
Ki Rush: it's not *technically* a teleport, but good luck outrunning that monk.
Angelic Wings: Sure, there are other ways to fly, but they aren't radiant angel wings!
Tentacular Limbs: exactly what it sounds like.

Yeah, there were a couple cleric ones that felt off in the playtest, I was hoping most had gone away, but there are still a few lurking around. Confidence domain's 'Delusion Pride' is another that's just off-brand. I can sort of see it for Asmodeus, but Gorum and Iomedea? They need something actually reflects confidence, not mocks it.
Creation spells too, but particularly 'splash of art' for Torag. That's just weird.

My favorite is kind of a toss-up for ki rush and touch of undeath. Undead sorcerers are bizarrely flexible, and monks are ridiculous in how well they can mock the action economy. '3 actions? Ha. Try 5.'
Flavor though? Diabolic edict. Help your allies... if they listen to you. or make the enemies just a little bit worse, unless they agree to serve.

Wild wind stance is amazing. Changed to 1d6 from 1d4 in the playtest, lasts the whole combat, you get bonus to ranged attack ac, ignore concealment and cover, and wild winds crash no longer has a focus point cost. So you can do that in a cone or line as long as you have both feats.
Dragon wings is another. At higher levels it lasts 10 minutes, and sorcerers get 1 focus per 10 minutes no matter what, so you can just keep spending it on that. And as an added bonus, as long as it's active, it extends the duration of dragon claws too.

Overstuff has some neat situational application... And may even be OP if the monster was only attacking because it was hungry. Overstuffed dragons for the win! Or if the party needs food, you could Overstuff an animal while hunting it to a) make it easier to hunt and b) have a huge extra amount of food inside it.

I like the new illusionist focus power that eventually lets you turn invisible for an hour. I'm curious if you can recharge focus while invisible, letting an illusionist stay invisible all day.
All the 10 minute or 1 hour things should allow you to regain focus while they're active. So dragon wings are continuous on sorcerers, who automatically recover focus during their duration.

Vibrant Thorns is amazing! Thorns grow from your body, and uh-oh! Anyone who touches you takes damage equal to your max spell level. What's that? You just cast a positive spell? Now they do 1d6 to anyone who touches you! Seriously, a tenth level Cleric can give themselves a screw-you-take-5d6 to anyone who wades into melee with them. That's an AMAZING boon for warpriests!

Can you regain 2 or 3 focus points by resting for 20 or 30 minutes, respectively?
No, you have to have spent 1 focus since the last time you refocused in order to use the refocus activity, so the only way to regain 2-3 focus points is by taking the appropriate feats and resting the standard 10 minutes.
Without those feats extra focus in your pool is pretty much a surge capacity useable once per day, but note there are a few 1/day recharge options (familiar, gnome familiar thing I think, and a wizard arcane bond focus are the ones I've noticed) for extra surging capability.

Elemental Blast from the Elemental Bloodline Sorcerer. It deals 2d6 less damage than a Fireball of the same spell level, but it only costs Focus to cast, and you can choose whether it manifests as a burst, a line, or a cone! Tack on the Blood Magic effect and you can get a bonus to Intimidate or add the spell level to damage for maximum blasting power!

Words of Truth is one of the most powerfull ability I have ever seen for a low level PC. You can come before a royal court, accuse one of the court member of being a traitor, and people will know you tell the truth.
It is very thematic, almost useless in combat, but damn it is good and flavorfull.
Note that it only proves that you aren't being deceptive, not that you are *correct*. But yes, it's pretty cool.
