Unless dwarves have unusual gestation rates, we know that it's gotta be less than ~14 months, yeah? The baby doesn't look like he's a full year old.

(Well, he would if he's mine, but that's because both of mine were really small, so I wouldn't guess that's necessarily true, relative to a normal Dwarf size of Helga.)

I knew we had some sort of time-reference - I thought the thing with the desert took nearly a year, though.

OH! Actually, no, it makes sense. Dwarves mature more slowly than humans, so dwarf babies might well take longer to grow. Right! Hyped about hearing the story!

Also, I love that the baby is moving around doing his own thing in every panel. And noticing that the baby has much darker skin than his mother, I went back and looked: I never noticed how tan Durkon is before, but the kid obviously inherited his father's skin tone.
