I'm planning to run a Council of Thieves AP before Hell's Rebels and Hell's Vengeance. Would Thrune respond if the Pathfinder lodge in Westcrown was reopened by legitimate pathfinders (I suspect they would be resistant to any truth but their own being revealed)? Would they allow for the old church of Aroden (The Children of Westcrown base) being turned into a fully functional church of Iomeadae after the events of that adventure path? Do they consider both of these events below their notice since Westcrown has fallen so far?

Hey James,
If you were going to give batman an alignment, what would it be?
If you were going to give Thane Krios (badass assassin from mass effect 2 and 3) an alignment as well what would it be?
Does Thane's personality and moral philosophy mesh well with the Red Mantis assassins and Achaekek's faith?

Probably not; not that big of a deal for Thrune. Unless you want to focus more on it for your own game's story.

Lawful good, but mostly because I like to mess with people when it comes to alignment arguments on the internet.
Dunno... don't remember him well enough to say.
Probably not, since if it did, I would have remembered him better.

If you prepare a spell in a higher level slot, does that impact the level of metamagic rods and pearls of power that you have to use? For example, if you cast an intensified fireball from a 4th level slot, would it take a pearl of power III or IV to recall the spell? Would it take a lesser or normal metamagic rod to add another metamagic feat?

Can meteoric iron be used to make cold iron, or is meteoric iron ALWAYS adamantine?
Is there a deity of dinosaurs on Golarion, or do they fall under Gozreh's purview?
When angling for Arcane Archer, do you think it's better to focus solely on your caster class so you'll have more spells that are more powerful, despite being able to only take eight levels of the prestige class at most (since most caster classes don't reach a BAB of +6 until 12th level), or to multiclass into a class with a high base attack bonus progression to qualify for the prestige class faster, and thus gain all ten levels in it, despite losing out on higher spell levels?

It's possible that we could include pretty much ANY feat in a book eventually, but the fact that the design team hasn't yet put in an option to threaten melee foes with a bow and arrow is a good indication that the design team doesn't think that's good for the game, since the concept is hardly an unusual or exotic one. That said, I've not read every book we've published, so it could be that there IS an option like this somewhere in the rules... and of course the nature of the game allows you to add house rules with ease, so if you're the GM and you like this idea, go for it! If you're a player, propose the new feat to your GM and see what happens! If you're playing PFS, then put aside weird/custom builds like this for home games and focus on building characters who play within the confines of PFS's "house rules" instead.

The level of the spell as you prepare it is what counts for determining if you can adjust it with a metamagic rod or recall it with a pearl.
An intensified fireball is a 4th level spell. You need a pearly of power IV to recall it, and cannot affect it at all with a lesser metamagic rod; you'd need a normal or greater metamagic rod.

I have noticed that zon-kuthon's clerics are usually teamed up with the pcs in the adventure path. Is their any reason his clerics seem to be more open with working with others even though their religion seems to be one of the bloodiest.
I can think of this happening twice—Crimson Throne and Shattered Star. That's twice in over a hundred volumes of APs. Not what I would count as "usually teaming up with the PCs."

As of Strange Aeons #1, when we present the Elder Mythos pantheon, Mordiggian is one of 20 Great Old Ones and Outer Gods that are active on Golarion. We're able to do so via an arrangement with Chaosium. It's similar to what we've done before, and for all of the characters we use via an agreement with Chaosium that aren't in the public domain, these characters are not open content, but we can use them in print in Golarion and you can use them in your home games all you want.
Mordiggian was once the main ghoul god, but is no more; most ghouls have moved on to worship other gods like Kabriri or Urgathoa. It's mostly just pockets of Leng ghouls who worship him today. Along with living mortals who act and look and behave like ghouls.

In Pathfinder, I'm pretty sure "meteoric iron" is just iron, or it's a mistaken name for adamantine. Cold iron is any iron that is forged cold—could be meteoric or could be terrestrial.
There's not a "deity of dinosaurs" in the setting... yet. Zevgavizeb comes close, but so does Gozreh.
I think folks' obsession with spell progression often cripples creativity and enjoyment of the game. For a prestige class like arcane archer, it's better to focus on the aspect or element that interests you the most for the character you're building. If you are REALLY that entranced by accessing the higher level spells sooner, don't multiclass or make sure you only prestige class into the classes that grant full spellcasting.

Thank you for the clarification.
In all ways, a metamagic spell operates at its original spell level, even though it is prepared and cast using a higher-level spell slot.
Should that passage be edited? I have seen several threads where people use the wording to justify using original spell level for things like pearls of power.

If an undead PC (Lich, Juju Zombie, Vampire, whatever) becomes mythic, reaches MR 10, and is slain by a non-artifact, what happens?
At 9th tier, if you are killed, you return to life 24 hours later, regardless of the condition of your body or the means by which you were killed. When you return to life, you aren't treated as if you had rested, and don't regain the use of abilities that recharge with rest until you next rest. This ability doesn't apply if you're killed by a coup de grace or critical hit performed by either a mythic creature (or creature of even greater power) or a non-mythic creature wielding a weapon capable of bypassing epic damage reduction. At 10th tier, you can be killed only by a coup de grace or critical hit made with an artifact.
After they are rejuvenated by this ability, do they remain undead or do they become living?

Comments about Strange Aeons keeping reminding me I should renew my AP subscription soon...
Anyway random questions:
1) I think I heard mention that you are statting up Great Old Ones for Strange Aeons bestiary? Is that correct? And are you doing any other monsters for the AP, or just this one?
2) Can we expect to get some Clark Ashton Smith monsters for the AP? (beyond any demigods/outer gods)
3) A more random note: I think in the past you have mentioned not liking musicals. What about Horror Musicals? I stumbled upon Stage Fright last night on Netflix and was pleasantly surprised that what I expected was a straight slasher remake was in fact a slasher musical with some comedic elements.
4) How do you feel about comedy in horror anyways? I am referring to movies like Tucker and Dale versus Evil, Army of Darkness, etc, not so much things like the Scary movie franchise/abomination.

I kinda meant an evil AP where it is possible, not necessary monster PC AP <_<
Why are most RP writers resistant to that idea anyway? Players are already monsters anyway *badumsh. And gets shot for the bad joke*
Another evil AP is ABSOLUTELY possible.
And I suspect most writers are resistant to the idea of players playing monsters because it's not as interesting for most writers for players to play the monsters.

Mythic is in play, so what happens is up to the GM to decide, as best fits the epic, over-the-top, legendary scope of the adventure. That said, the intent of that 9th tier power is to return you to the condition you were when you died/were destroyed, so I'd say that it would restore the person to its undead status.

1) Yes, I'm statting up a new Great Old One for each volume—six in all. I'm also doing several other monsters for the AP. Eight in all, spread out over the six volumes.
2) Absolutely. Access to statting up some Clark Ashton Smith stuff (Great Old Ones AND monsters) is one of the huge benefits we gained by teaming up with Chaosium.
3) I like horror musicals least of all musicals, because they ruin the genre I enjoy the most. I have avoided Stage Fright like the plague; I know it is very much not for me.
4) Done well, horror comedy is incredible... provided it treats both genres with respect and treats the AUDIENCE with respect. Tucker and Dale, Slither, Evil Dead/Army of Darkness, and Gremlins are all good examples of horror comedy done well. The Scary Movie series are examples of BAD movies done BADLY, regardless of the genre.

Is it possible to increase the enhancements of a specific magic weapon, or add magic properties to it?
Like, could the dagger of venom be made into a +2 unholy dagger and keep its unique abilities?
Absolutely possible. In many cases you'll need GM adjudication to determine what the effective weapon quality of non-quality powers like the poison power of a dagger of venom counts as, of course. The best way to do that is to just look at the weapon's actual price and round up to the next category, so a dagger of venom would equate to a +2 weapon, and making it a +2 unholy dagger of venom would up its price to 50,302 gp. Likewise, a holy avenger is more or less a +8 weapon, so you couldn't make a vorpal holy avenger (without it becoming an artifact that transcends prices and standard creation rules), but you could make it a flaming burst holy avenger (which would bump its total cost up to 200,000 gp or so).
And again, you'll need GM approval before you do something like this.

For me, I don't like horror. I don't feel fear so they always seem boring and pointless, a series of scenes to invoke fear become for me a series of scenes the invoke boredom. An exception would be Event Horizon, probably the only horror film I like.

I always consider watching something highly recommended that I normally wouldn't. I've given musicals MANY chances, and in a few cases there ARE exceptions. I quite enjoyed Moulin Rouge, for example. But other musicals, from Singing in the Rain to Sound of Music to West Side Story to Little Shop of Horrors to more... no thanks. Moulin Rouge is the exception so far as I can tell.
What I don't generally do is get worked up and crusade when I hear someone isn't passionate about something I am. I don't try to force someone who's not into horror, for example, to watch horror. If they ask me for advice on what to watch, I'll absolutely work with them to figure out a good introduction based on their interests, but I know how annoyed I get when someone tries to "fix" something about me that they think is broken, when in fact it's not broken at all.

Seeing as you're a big horror fan, what's your opinion of the sci-fi/horror movie Event Horizon?
I think the first 2/3 of that movie are really compelling, interesting, and atmospheric, but that the final third ruins it all, turning what could have been a great movie into a sort of awkward mess. I should probably watch it again—I've only seen it once, and was so put off by the way the last third played out that my opinion at the time was really hampered by it all.

Event Horizon seems to indicate the price of using Hyperspace/FTL without the psychic Emperor of Warhammer holding back the demonic forces of Chaos. Is this the flavor that Starfinder will be putting in it's version of hyperspace given that the Dark Tapestry seems to be Pathfinder's name for deep space?

Event Horizon is so very, very 1990s... I'm fond of it, but a big chunk of that is nostalgia. And Sam Neill.

What sort of beasties would you recommend using for a Pathfinderized take on Dark City?

I'm not a huge fan of musicals myself (Moulin Rouge is pretty much the only one I have enjoyed as well) , but stage fright was actually pretty good (A gorier, musical Final Girls really), and there are probably less musical numbers than in say...Moulin Rouge (a few of the numbers are actually part of the play within the movie, and I think most of the kills/attacks are not set to musical accompaniment). And the kabuki mask clad killer looks pretty cool. But I'll leave it at that for now.
So what cool horror/genre films have you seen lately? And are there any particular ones I should avoid?
Did you see the Conjuring sequel? is it worth watching?
