More kind of screamy and pouty than "badass" really though, don't ya think?

All caught up.
Welcome, Pirate Devon. I haven't seen you around these parts before. I hope we don't scare you away. :)
Thanks, everyone, for the anniversary wishes. I will be fairly absent from here this weekend. Just pretend I'm playing Fallout: New Vegas.
Thaaannkkk you.
I popped in like twice and then my son was born so I have been a ghost on the boards in general and just now am coming back more regularly.

Greetings fellow new father. And welcome to FAWTL. Lilith maybe along with cookies.
On a side note do we still call her Lilith or should we switch to Liz?

Do we get extra cookies for coming to FAWTL? I got my first batch when I showed up on the boards in general but if I get MORE cookies!?! Yum yum yum!

Well we are still trying to get Lilith to include cookies in every Paizo order. :)

Subscriptions would become ridiculous. The mind boggling logistics for the warehouse crew...guess it would be a game warehouse/cookie factory. Magnificent.
Fellow Paizoites (Paizoans? Paizolonians?) would be easily identified though: gamer types shiftlessly moving around towns and conventions, a dull glaze in their eye. "I need to order another book or adventure, I just can't handle not having more..." They would rove the streets of our towns and the hallways of our game stores waiting for innocent victims still carrying their delicious Lilith cookies. Ever seen "I am Legend"?
Which brings me to two points.
1. What does she put in those cookies?
2. Are we sure this is such a good idea?

Very short day at work today - only about 3 hours - Mostly thanks to waiting extra time the last two days for the IT guy to get me a laptop for my upcoming trip to San Diego. And, of course, I still don't have it. He said he'd be here at 6:30 this morning, which was 1/2 and hour ago.
ARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!
But, on the plus side, I get to have Popeyes for lunch today.
Mmmmm....Popeyes.

we're not all awful.

Adrien Brody is worse. Oh look, his brows and lips are drooping...and so is the end of his nose. Adrien Droopy Brody. Stare into his sad eyes and dare contradict me.

Hee hee. I know. I'm an IT person, in a sense. My wife does tech support these days, and I know she's good at what she does. :)

Heh.
I know when I've been programming more than usual because my social skills atrophy. I suddently can't speak in anything but technical jargon and am unable to stand conversing civilly with another human being for more than .00341 nanoseconds. When my conversational arsenal is reduced to mathematical formulas and incoherent snarls, I know I need to step back from the computer and read a slobberingly romatic fantasy novel or draw pictures for a while to regain my humanity.

He wasn't trying to be badass in that series. He was trying to be a wimp who thought he was badass. Which, of course, fits perfectly.

Yeah, this. Never been to NYC, hopefully one day, but I thought it was just bad.
Of course as a disclaimer, I tend not to enjoy sitcoms anyway.

It was a lot of things about the show, really. You had people in situations that were believable, acting in ways that were unbelievable. The way they came into the apartment was pure NY, but their jobs(in terms of liquidity) were more than a little odd for their circumstances. The racial mix was also pure hilarity(my wife laughed constantly over that many white people in one part of manhattan at one time). There are other things I could go and on about on the show, but since I am pure Brooklyn(if not for the second job as well as some of the people I've met on these wonderful boards[GO SUBWAY SWORD AND SORCERY!], I would still be viewing most of manhattan isle with contempt), I'm sure I'm not being entirely fair.
