Some motherf##&ing jackhole just clogged the toilet in the men's room in my building. Which wouldn't be too bad, except for the fact that IT FLOODED THE ENTIRE BATHROOM AND IS LEAKING THROUGH THE FLOOR INTO THE BATHROOM BELOW IT. I spent the last forty-five minutes waiting for the repairman to come and fix it, all the while wondering WHO THE F&$% DID THIS AND HOW LONG HE'S GOING TO LAST ONCE I FIND OUT WHO THEY ARE.

It's all gravy. People who feel like their ideas are under assault sometimes cannot step back and take a look at what the actual problem is. Dissention is fine IMO, but it's worth noting that extraordinary claims do require extraordinary proofs, and when you don't provide those then your ability to have a civil conversation is significantly diminished. If you're going to dissent from a mainstream view, you typically need to show some evidence to be taken seriously.

Mmmmm, gravy...

So... I had a crazy idea. I'm trying to figure out in advance what sites I'm going to promote on my radio show, and I though, "why not hype Paizo?"

And then, I had my crazy idea. What would everyone say to my making a show entirely out of song requests from FAWTL, then doing a short shakedown of what's on the Paizo site and messageboards?

Can you play "F**K YOU" by C Lo Green?
Yes. I was actually going to put that one on the show anyway. I didn't think I'd like it, but that song is awesome.

Yeah, it is surprisingly good.

Are you still taking requests Shiny?

2. Fake Healer He's been around on the boards very recently, but he doesn't seem to post nearly as much as he used to.

Fakey's about, he's just not posting as much as he used to.

Hope Beeler's ok ... I remember he was going through some pretty serious s#&+. EDIT- Ah, just saw Kruel's response. Good show. Pass on a hello from me to him if you chat will you Kruel?

Ugh, wet and cold weekend here. We’re supposed to be well into Spring, but Winter just isn’t giving up.

And I am currently listening to a very bizarre (but kind of cool and laid back) cover of Outkast’s 'Hey Ya', covered by Sarah Blasko.

Got it on Youtube, Mothy.

I just put on Supernaut by Sabbath; my grass edger sounds like the guitar pedal on it so I got that song stuck in my head now.

Hi, All!

I heard some really cool news, today. I learned that the Nov/Dec 2010 issue of Writer's Digest listed WilyWriters.com as one of the Top 75 Online Markets for writers, based on genre (speculative fiction) and quality.

That's cool news, to me, because I happen to be one of the founding members of the Wily Writers, and the site is where I had my debut as a fiction editor back in March of this year.

Most of the work of running the site is done by Angel Leigh McCoy, who is a fantastic writer of both game material and fiction. Still, it's neat to be even a small part of an organization that's getting recognition from Writer's Digest.

Check out the Wilies when you get a chance. There's some really cool stuff there. We even have a podcast for audio versions of some of our tales.

I hope everyone has a good night!

Woodraven - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Morning everybody else.

Mornin' All :)

Gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood morning FAWLTY HOUSE!!!

Man, what an interesting weekend. Something beautiful happened at the second job- at one of the places I went to instead of a go-go boys, there was a go-go GIRL! I thought they had all disappeared into the ether back in the 1970s! Needless to say I was tickled pink, and although I did keep my mind on the job, it was a refreshing change of pace.

Yesterday was the Darklight Sisterhood game, and man, was it good. After a rough patch last game where players were getting paranoid, I think I hit on a few things that needed to be done differently for an all-girl game as opposed to a mixed gender or all guy game, and so everyone left quite happy after buying tons of stuff and experiencing a day at a spa. I'm not kidding on that last one. The wife was the only one who paid a gold piece for the "Golden Bath" and was quite happy with the experience, which made everyone think I was playing favorites even though I wasn't. In the real life portion of the game, my wife made her famous pumpkin soup, which was almost all gone by the time the game was over- if there is one dish I'm bringing to FAWLTY pot-luck, it's that.

Finally, strangely enough, I recieved a call from my first g/f last night. I wasn't able to pick up immediately as I was gaming, but I did call her back afterwards and we chatted for a bit. She needled me about joining in NaNoWriMo, and I think it's a good word count philosophy to follow, although I'm not as novel-based as I was when we were dating. She flirted and gave me a swelled head even as we talked about more serious stuff she has been facing in recent months, 'twas a good conversation over all, if completely out of the blue.

Aaaaaand that's about it. We're expecting company at the main job sometime this week, so I'm not sure if I'll be posting as much as I'll be getting my paperwork in order.

Also, HAPPY BIRTHDAY WOODRAVEN!!!

Scarab Sages

Brain Cramps from San Diego.

Just wanted to pop in for a bit and say HI. Gotta head out to the base soon, and hopefully not get lost. Meeting my contractors at 0800 to take care of any paperwork, etc. then hopefully get started some time this afternoon.

Knee cramps!! We won our hockey game last night and I didn't reinjure my knee so today is a good day. Except I am on 5 hours of sleep because somebody things it is great fun to be up from 4:30 to 6:30 AM.

Congratulations on your victory. I'm sure it was hard fought. Here's hoping my own knee continues to behave itself.

It's Monday. Been at work for 3 hours, and I've actually worked for 3 hours. The apocalypse has arrived!

I am pretty sure the pony is on vacation. I thought there was mention of a ship.

Hey Justin how long did it take you to start building up your 3d terrain? I'm putting in another DF order next month on the same freaking set (I realize there are potential design structures not accounted for in my current collection). But I think this next order and maybe one more after it will account for enough of the classic dungeon stuff that I can move on.

Yay! I was worried because we didn't get as many encounters in, but they were roleplaying heavy - that tends to take more time, but I think it should be an important part of Kingmaker. :)

Since I build more then I buy it took me quite a while. The biggest thing was once I built my gaming table, then I started on the terrain boards. A year or so later I have enough to fill my 3'x7' table in a multitude of formations. Although I am still working a multitude of projects. So I guess the easy answer is that I will never probably have enough.:)

Sorta it all started back with Treppa and Studpuffin saying handcramps (never did figure out why this started, and I still don't understand it) but it was quickly picked up by Taig, and Aberzombie (who lately likes to say braincramps.... zombies and all) But yes sort of a fad going on right now.

It actually started when Moorluck posted one day Hand Cramps!!!, we assume because he had one. Several of us decided that it was our illustrious leaders new way of greeting us, and has continued since.
