What things are you noticing?

I can't seem to grow tomatoes here for the life of me. I just don't get it. And I've grown pumpkin with mixed results. Usually zucchini does well for me here, but this year seems to be slow going. I've heard that other people are having an odd year for growing things.
You might want to consider a tomato box. I made one that was 4'x4'x8' with a Plexiglas lid, and it worked great.

I do mine in raised beds. Plus they get about 15 hrs of sun a day (I live on a treeless hilltop)

LOL! I really don't. If I want to hear hear dubious attacks based on personality and sound bites I just need to turn on the TV. We have primaries coming in August here in Colorado.

I know; no politics on this thread.

I hope you realize my post was merely a bad pun I could not pass up and that nothing was meant by it. Just checking.

Impressive.

Do you ever leave the house?

Of course. Have to go grocery shopping sometime (twice a month). And I go to the theaters at least once a month.

Sorry! If I slip again please remind me. :)

@ TAD:

I was not picking on you in particular nor was I actually asking if you ever leave the house.

I didn't know whose alias it was but what popped into my mind whn the sax man posted that he "blows his own hown" was the skin flute.

Therefore, blowing his own horn sounded impressive and as an allusion to the old dog licking joke, I assked if he ever left the house...

Your response made it appear to me the joke went over your head and so I posted the youtube clip.

I hope that clarifies things. I was just joking and playing with words (puns).

Cool. I like Jazz too. When I lived in Ashland, KY I used to go to a Jazz festival in Huntington WV. However, I haven't gone to any since moving to Virginia.

Speaking of, have you bothered to attend any such festivals where you live?

Actually I'm not even aware of any that might be local. Haven't been to a concert in years. The last three I went to were huge disappointmets. So I pretty much just stick to listening to radio (when I can't stand it) or my MP3s.

Two questions...

What is your current town of residence?

A festival will be a little different than a concert. Were those last three jazz festivals, jazz concerts, or some other type of concert that you went to?
