The sun is shining, the weather is fine and off in the distance you can hear the poor sods that are practicing for marching band. Yep, today's a good day.

EDIT: I recognize those trumpets! Man, I'm glad I'm not running around a muddy football field playing that for once.

October is looking to be a really good month. I am actually planning on going to a haunted house this year, I haven't been to one since I was 10, this time with a certain someone. and of course I turn 25 near the end of the month so this is looking to be a very good month.

I haven't been to one in four years. The chance in going to anything remotely related is remotely nil. They don't scare me by any means. I'm just there to see if I'm caught off guard or LMAO watching the others in the group freak out s#@tless to the point of absurd terror. But the missus won't have anything to do with it. Not one iota. Meh.

I read that yesterday in the AOL news that pops up when I open the internet and wanted to post it but couldn't think of a good place to do so. It appears that I missed the call by JM and you nailed it.

Sometimes my opinions can make people uncomfortable, so I've spoilered this one.

Spoiler:
It's good that people are re-discovering their heritage, but it still seems like a puff piece. I didn't take kindly to the nice lumping together of hardcore punks and nazi skinheads near the end of the article. And trading a brutal ideology for religious conservatism, taken in a different context, could be the the subject of a Chick tract.

That's all I have to say about that.

I work for a major telecommunications company.

In tech support.

An average day includes at least:

12 Old people computing
11 Stereotypes whining
10 Powercyles
9 Modem reformats
8 Stupid rules changes
7 Password resets
6 Billing issues
5 Broken promises
4 Calls for ANOTHER company who forgot they called MY company...even though the hold music states the company name at least 5 times.
3 Service outages
2 Escalations
and an AOL'er on the internet....

And thanks for the warm welcome.

How much SAN loss will it cause if I stay?

~melodramatic sigh~ It is so hard. Abusing customers, denying them service, treating them bad. We are almost as evil as your company is, CJ.

Speaking of Chick, this is my favorite one out of all of them. Hopefully you catch why it makes me crack up. Heh.

Note to self: never play rough with a bulldog on all fours when he's really wound up. He'll head butt you and give you a black eye. Coincidentally, I have an unrelated doctor's appt this afternoon. This is going to be fun explaining.

EDIT: a nude bulldog, of course.
