Malize DeWynter |

Chilling Cloud taking in SA1 and SA2's Fort.
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 121d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16
On a hit they take 4 cold damage, and a -2 penalty to attacks until end of my next turn if within the power's area (centred on I28)
Malize looks like she might cheerfully punch Vernal and sends a bolt of cold forth.

Amelia |

Steam hisses into the air where the edge of the cloud of coldness meets the barrier of fire. While both skeletons are quickly coated in frost, it's hard to tell if either of them is harmed by it.
Malize, I added in your bonus temple damage on the one attack that did hit.
Vernal, +2 damage
Kevaras, +2 damage
Santander, +2 damage
Ovid, +2 damage
Archer 1, -2 hit
Archer 2, Bloodied, -2 sit

Vernal DeWynter |

Move to J22, next to Santander
Minor - Darkfire (Ref) v bloodied SA1
1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14. On hit, target grants CA to end Vernal's next turn and cannot benefit from concealment or invisibility.
Standard - readying Energizing Strike (AC) when an enemy comes into range.
Wandering across the floor, Vernal arrives next to Santander and waves a graceful hand at the bloodied archer. As his fingers open, a greenish glow attempts to settle around the skeleton, highlighting its weaker areas.
"The better to see you with."

Amelia |

SA2 is bloodied, not SA1. I'll assume you mean him.
Lovely violet lighting springs up around the skeleton, making it easier to strike.
Kevaras, +2 damage
Santander, +2 damage
Ovid, +2 damage
Archer 1, -2 hit
Archer 2, Bloodied, -2 hit, granting CA
Corpus, +2 damage
Malize, +1 on arcane powers, +2 damage

Kevaras Zanorin |

Minor action to divine challenge Archer 2. I shift to H26 and attack Archer 2.
Virtuous Strike vs AC 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 7 + 2 = 28 for 1d8 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 4 + 2 = 13 radiant damage.

Ovid Of The Shades |

"To hell with this." Ovid dashes past Corpus and swings his spear like a hammer at the skeleton's midsection. If it attempts to attack him, it would only open itself up further.
Dancing Cobra, move to I27 (provoking an OA from SA1) and attack(vs Reflex, 2 more damage if it attempts an OA on me this turn, in addition to 4 extra from Flurry of Blows): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 61d10 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
Unfortunately, the spear gets stuck in the door frame as he winds up for his swing.

Amelia |

The last of the undead acts like the drow it once was. Not only does it take advantage of the opening Ovid gave it, but it presses in with a second attack against him. And, as Ovid steps outside the temple, he feels the blessings on him fade.
OA for the skelly: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 and it's normal action: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
However, like Ovid's own attack, the skeleton's short sword finds nothing except air.
Corpus, +2 damage
Malize, +1 on arcane powers, +2 damage
Vernal, +2 damage
Kevaras, +1 defenses, +2 damage
Santander, +2 damage
Ovid
Archer, -2 to hit

Amelia |

Corpus presses in his own attack at the last foe, the axes in his hands seeking to end the drow archer's life for a second time.
Suprisng Strike - Main Attack 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14. Hits for: 1d10 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15 and grants CA to Corpus. Secondary attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11 misses.
The first axe cuts the skeletons off arm away, leaving the thing barely standing. The second blow, however, connects with air.

Malize's attack finishes off the archer which collapses.
Wave two is down. You each get 100 xp, which brings you to 165. Loot consists of: 3 heavy shields; 2 longbows with 35 arrows each; 2 longsword; 2 shortswords; and 1 +1 inescapable longsword. The armor that they have on is not serviceable for the living. Temple Bonuses fade. You have time for a short rest, and another do what you like skill challenge before the next wave shows up. Try and remember to give a map location and init roll for the start of wave three

Vernal DeWynter |

Vernal tells himself he's still gorgeous as he plucks the rogue arrow out of his armour.
Ardent Surge to heal 6 plus 1d6 ⇒ 1 bringing him back to 22/25. Don't forget that Vernal adds to your healing surge value if he uses that power. Does anyone else need a heal?
Dimly aware that he needs to be close to do damage, and feeling exhausted already, he leans up against the wall and spins his knife, waiting for anything stupid enough to stumble past him. Comfortably rubbing his shoulders against the stonework, he considers what he knows about the enemies so far and wonders how it can be put to use.
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22 - Insight to form some kind of battle plan.
G25 with a readied Psionic Shield to use on the first creature he sees going past.
1d20 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 1 = 10 - init.
"Someone move that detestable barrel. I don't want it going off in my face." He makes no move to do so himself.

Santander |

Santander fires a few fireballs out the front doors of the temple hoping to intimidate the next approaching band of attackers or possibly at least creating some fiery terrain through which they must first pass before reaching the front doors.
Intimidate Check, 1d20+9=24
EDIT: One surge used, 25/26 HP, 7/8 surges remaining

Corpus DeWynter |

Corpus spends a HS with Vernal's aid bringing him up to full HP.
"Someone help me with this barrel" Corpus says as he begins to move it out of the doorway.
"Kevaras, that one longsword looks like it magical you might want to use it on the next wave."
That was our second fight so we should get an extra action point.

Vernal reflects on old battles he's read about and thinks that your best bet is to keep a low profile and not to try and attack into the army. As long as they think you're harmless, you'll be safer.
Kevaras' can't make out any more details on the barrel, other than it's totally sealed in a layer of something waxy. He and Corpus move it out of the way.
Santander moves to the door and his balls of fire do draw the notice of those below. And not in the way he intended.
Vernal placed where he stated, and the others where they'd need to be for stated actions. Need inits for Kevaras, Corpus, and Santander. You do, indeed, gain an AP. Malize and Ovid still have actions as well an init.

Kevaras Zanorin |

"Kevaras, that one longsword looks like it magical you might want to use it on the next wave."
"Good idea Corpus," Kevaras says appreciatively and goes to examine the balance of the longsword.
Kevaras' can't make out any more details on the barrel, other than it's totally sealed in a layer of something waxy.
Alright then, Initiative is 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5.
–FINAL EDIT– Guess I'll start the wave in I23.
Kevaras is currently at:

Santander moves to the door and his balls of fire do draw the notice of those below. And not in the way he intended.
I thought about that after I typed it, but figured I'd leave it since I couldn't think of anything else creative to do. I guess it was a good way to roleplay 8 INT, or at least that's what I'll tell myself.
Initiative Check, 1d20+3=11

Malize once more focuses and tries to tap into the temple power.
Arcana: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19 and init for Malize: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 1 = 16
More power fills her, but in a more subtle way this time, one that she feels, but the others would not.
Malize:
Just then, more enemy arrive. Hobgoblins. Dead one. The zombie goblinoids wear tattered scale mail and carry shields and scimitars. They come through the smoke left by Santander's fire heedless of danger.
To save time, I'm making the OAs on the lead for Santader and Ovid, as well as Vernal's readied action. If people don't mind, I'll do that routinely for Monster movement caused ones.
As the lead zombie presses towards Corpus, it leaves itself open and others in the group take advantage.
Santander OA: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16
Ovid OA: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19, damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11
The zombie deflects the staff attack by it's living kin, however, a punch from Ovid strikes it. In the meantime, Vernal lashes out at another one that closes in on Santander.
Readied Psionic Shield: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9
However, the attack misses, and the hobgoblins strike back.
Attacks by the SZ2 on Corpus: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17, Ovid: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14 and Santander: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21. Damage to Corpus: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7 and Santander:1d8 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10
Ovid nimbly dodges the scimitar attack against him, but the others are struck. The zombies fight as they did when they were alive, covering each other with thier shields.
Hobgoblin Soldier Zombies have Phalanx Soldier, gaining +2 to AC when next to an ally. The OA attacks were against base AC.

Shift to G24
Explosive Pyre, 1d20+4=11 vs Sz3 Ref, 2d8+7=22 fire damage and until SOMNT, any enemy that enters a square adjacent to the target or starts its turn there takes 1d6=5 fire damage.
Santander backs away from the compromising position of the doorway and unleashes a fireball towards the tightly grouped hobgoblin corpses.

Amelia |

Malize's mental attack likely rips into the zombies. Being Zombies, though, it is hard to tell.
Suddenly, one of the windows explodes inwards and landing inside the temple is a Grimlock. The creature has an axe in each hand, and is bleeding from where the glass cut him.
Santander backs off and starts to cast a spell, but one of the zombies swings at him.
OA from Sz4: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13
However, the attack misses and the living hobgoblin sends fire into the mass of his undead kin. His target is burning fiercely, but is still on it's feet.
The last zombie mindlessly advances, being burnt slightly as it enters the fiery zone.
Then, something follows the Grimlock through the window. The creature is about the size of a small dog and it has a lot of spines on it's back. And, it's made entirely of shadow.

–EDIT– Then I shift to I20 with my move action.

Amelia |

Kevaras counts on Corpus to hold the zombies at bay and moves to attack the shadow creature as well. His blow seems to weaken it more, but, it does not fall.
The Grimlock turns it's attention to Kevaras, eagerly accepting the divine challenge.

Corpus DeWynter |

Corpus goes into his Tempest Dance and shifts to H25 attacks Sz3, shifts back to I24 attacks Sz2 and then shifts back to H25 attacks Sz4 ending his little dance.
Sz2, attack vs ac, 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22, damage = 1d6 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12
Sz4, attack vs ac, 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19, damage = 1d6 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
If Sz2 goes down add an additional 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5 necrotic damage to Sz4
Sz3, attack vs ac, 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22, damage = 1d6 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11

Amelia |

Corpus nimbly darts amid the zombies.
Corpus takes 5 fire damage each time he shifts to H25. So, 10 total fire damage.
All of his blows strike true, but none of the creatures fall to his blades.
One of them falls to the flames that Santander placed on it, but the other two weather them and attack.
Corpus has one of them swing at him and the undead hobgoblin scores against the undead drow.
SZ4 attacks Corpus with it's scimitar. 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24. He hits for 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6. So, Corpus takes a total of 16 points for the round.
The other zombie moves forward, taking more fire damage and allowing Vernal to strike.
SZ2 steps towards Santander taking 5 fire damage. Normally, the shift is safe, but Vernal was delaying and uses Energizing Strike. 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26. Hit for 1d6 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10 and 5 temp HP for Ovid.
The zombie is battered by the attack, but the undead thing attacks his living kin.
Scimitar attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27. Hits for 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12.
Once more, the undead's blade finds it's mark, though the thing shows no emotion as it attacks.

Amelia |

Bloodied, at 8hp.
ps. Why did I take damage for moving into H25?
Could you make a continuing list of any area effects and what they do. The map dosn't tell me anything other where everyone is.
Because of the effect of Santander's Explosive Pyre. But, I oopsed it - it only effects enemies. Misread it, so you get the 10 back.

Santander |

Explosive Pyre Area Effect ends
Move Action - Shift to I23
Standard Action - Second Wind

1d20+4=6 vs Sz2 Ref, 1d4+7=9 radiant damage
1d20+4=13 vs Sz4 Ref, 1d4+7=9 radiant damage
and the burst creates a zone bounded by burning ground that lasts until EOMNT. Whenever an enemy within the zone leaves it, that enemy takes 3 fire damage.
Santander again tries to back away from his undead kin, falling back to regain his strength and bring forth radiant power to encircle the undead to impede their pursuit.
