you can Ask a Shoanti about that ;)

I posted about this thread on another website, and one person replied that they've donated to the cause! Maybe more will!

PS. Hope that entitles me to the "extras"... ;) If not, see you there!

Hugo, my half of my apportatio for the "add" sent...

whenever you get the chance I would like to discuss ideas to see how viable are them and if you have anything ebtter on mind :)

We have received several donations, which I beleive puts us near 85%, so, that's some improvement! :)

I have received Crystal's draft of the design and I'm scared to see so much stuff beign printed! The design is all new and we will put a new feature for the PDF: the option to print it without background! Your printer can thank Crystal for that ;)

How much money is needed to get to 100% if you don't mind me asking?

For the sake of keeping this "humble", we don't make the cost public, but is neither a secret, so if you are really interested in helping out, please write me to:

Have helped out, sent the money as a personal gift so as to not accrue any paypal fees on your end. Just curious if the remaining money needed is pretty low now so that the goal will be reached. Understand why the amount is not published though.

ShaneG.

Thanks ShaneG/Plaag!

May I ask your account name or to which paypal account you send it? I need to identify it for the shipping.

If you need help proofreading, go ahead and send me the whole thing, three weeks before anyone else gets to see it. Yep. That's what you should do.

And I have yet to even hear who's doing the art for my fiction piece :(

Has anyone?

Paizo Employee Director of Narrative

I learned the identity of the person who illustrated my article, but I assume it was because I did Hugo a favor. I'm still way excited, but it feels like I peeked at my x-mas present before it was wrapped and I'm going to have to pretend to be really excited on Wayfinder day. (like that will be hard)

Sovereign Court

I did two illustrations and I don't know who wrote either one.

Liberty's Edge Contributor

In Wayfinder #2, I only found out who did the art for my piece ahead of time because the artist wanted to get some descriptive info from me. I'm very curious to know what art will be paired with my fiction for WF3.

Grrrrr!!

For the record I've been very happy with the artist I've been blessed with for both of my previous wayfinder stories. I'm not worried, we have a ton of talented artists, but seeing as this is the first piece where I imagine Boswic will need to be drawn I'm understandably curious/nervous. The other two pieces that have my name attached to them I'm far less concerned about, I'm sure they will be great and I can't wait to see what they come up with, but "Dances With the Mantis" has me worried . . .

Shadow Lodge

I'm eagar to know who illustrated my piece as well, and if mine made it
into the print version

Scarab Sages

I know who illustrated one of mine but thats only cuz the illustration was posted a couple of pages ago. :)

Boswic? Mmmm... nopes can't find no Boswic >:P

Alright, here's the summary for the print version:
-84 pages plus covers
-36 Articles
-45 illustrations
-2 Maps
-1 comic strip

This time we had to go the other way around as the previous 2 numbers: We had to make the art smaller to be able to keep the pagecout at 84. Normally we made it bigger, even full page to make the 'zine nicer.

On the PDF we'll do it as usual to make justice to several pieces of art that had to be shrunk.

Also the PDF will include 4 more maps, 7 more articles, and a couple "specials" :)

I hope we can keep everyone happy! :)

We all appreciate your efforts, Hugo, despite the impossibility of this particular goal. ;)

I'm still amazed at the industry you, Liz, and everyone else puts into this project. This is truly a labor of love with a heavy emphasis on the labor.

Shadow Lodge

Sounds like it's going to be awesome. :)

Speaking of whether or not things were received, was my short story received? I don't think I got word one way or the other on that.

Is off to the press, YAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!!!!!

This also means that we can breath a bit easier now. Thou I still have to crack the whip intensively to get the press to work FAST, for two weeks is a very short time for printing this baby.

Anyways, the third deed is done and now we move on to complete the PDF and to supervise the printing process.

I'll take some pics of the printing process and I'll upload a few more sneak peeks to keep the Wayfinder rush alive 'til PâizoCon :)

@Dane, can't remember if there was anything from you on the 'zine...I think there wasn't... >;)

If Paizo had a "like" button... (not that I want them to add one...I'm just sayin' "if"...) ;-)

WOOHOO!!!!!!! <does a happy dance>

Thanks to everyone who is putting this together. I am so looking forward to getting my hands on a copy in just a couple more weeks!

The only concern will be whether to read it at Paizocon or save it for the plane trip home ... or maybe both. ;)

On a close to final note on the print budget side, I still have plenty of original on sale to cover the $ needed for printing. We are pretty close, so, a very few illos can bring the budget up to a 100%, in case you want to help but want something extra for your $ besides the fantabulowesome Wayfinder fanzine.

Linky to art sale:
Art for sale

We raised the necessary cash decently fast and even a bit abode the "red line" where our personal budget (our pocket) would have to cover. For this, we thank you from the bottom of our hearths and continue to prove the world that the paizonian community DA'BEST!!!

This is all very thrilling. Glad this lurker could take part. :)

Sovereign Court

Awesome news Hugo, big congrats to you and the rest of the Wayfinder team.

"preparations" are done, printing starts today. I can breathe a little easier now that the printing is actually starting... phew!

There are still a couple pages pending and the cover too, so its not all done most most of it.

I'll take some pics and post them on the weekend.
