WANT!
I thought someone called me
I want some too.
I mean fairies are quite tasty (burp!). with butter.

The pixie dust is known to give heartburn so have lots of antiacid
Would a Pathfinder Chronicles about the First World be better way to get info about faries?
I'm just shooting for two books in one I do love the Revisited's'es...
Series.

I prefer Giants Revisited but this would be cool too

Will we see stats for Richard Simmons, Elton John, Liberace and Andy Warhol?
All seriously, I'd buy it of course.

I always envisioned pixie dust as a sort of sugary coating.
Put me in the category of liking both this idea (Classic Fairies Revisited, though I like Fey Revisited better) and Classic Giants revisited. That would cover most of my favorite monsters -as the other favorite, Lycanthropes, got some love in Classic Horror's Revisited.

This is one group that really needs to be revisited and put into a cohesive although chaotic whole.
I'd like to see a fey book with crunch as well as fluff. And I'd hope that such a book would give plenty of coverage to friendly, GOOD-aligned fey, not just evil and malicious fey.

Actually, with 3 Good, 1 Neutral and 1 Evil fey in the Bestiary, some Evil fey love is very needed ...
Gorbacz wrote: Actually, with 3 Good, 1 Neutral and 1 Evil fey in the Bestiary, some Evil fey love is very needed ... I suspect that Irrisen will give us a few less-than-nice fey.
In my imaginings, there are three types;
Vampire-like 'snow maidens' who transform into sleet-storm-like whirling snow flurries and drain the body heat from those they find out in the cold, leaving them frozen and blue, but with a look of bliss on their faces, as if they died experiencing wonderful dreams. Often mistaken for undead, and considered to be the souls / spirits of faithless (or wrongly accused) maidens cast out of their homes and left to freeze to death (but they aren't, being more closely related to dryads). They often watch at windows, unable to enter a home, leaving behind frost patterns in the shape of a woman's hand print on exterior walls and doors.
Ice pixies, with wings of ice-crystal that move in swarms, slashing at foes with their sharp-edged wings and leaving behind sliced up bloodless bodies. Dangerously attracted to flame, they have a tendency to fly too close, so that their wings melt, leaving them helpless, to be cruelly mocked by the rest of the swarm and left to die.
Rime Knights, a mix of elf and 3.5ish hobgoblin, lean and strong and outfitted in armor and with weapons of steel-hard ice, soaked brownish-red with the blood of their enemies, as they live for proving themselves in battle (and feed magically off of the deaths of foes in melee combat), always challenging the fiercest-looking warrior to single combat, and being big talkers about honor and all that, despite their vicious natures.
How could someone forget the Spriggans the twisted evil gnomes who can turn into giants
Add my name to the WANT list.
I'd rather see some obscure and cool fey, not unicorns and s+!#
Frostflame wrote: How could someone forget the Spriggans the twisted evil gnomes who can turn into giants Ooh, one of my favorite fey ever!
I'd like this book also. Especially if it had redcaps and quicklings.

I'd like to see mythic monsters revisited. Stuff you'd find in Clash of the Titans.

+1 to the Classic Giants and Classic Fey revisited books.
I always thought that those two creature groups and a terrain book about swamps (much like Frostburn, Stormwrack, etc) were missed opportunities for WoTC.

Add my vote to classic fey and giants revisited.
Only problem with fey revisited is we don't have 10 fey in the bestiarys yet. After Bestiary II would probably be more likely.
On a side note I really like how revisited books take place of the old Dragon Ecologies. Heres hoping for a Demons revisited followed by books for the other outsider races.
So long as we don't have Angsty the Emo Fey show up, I'm happy.
Shadow13.com wrote: Will we see stats for Richard Simmons, Elton John, Liberace and Andy Warhol? Wait, is this book about fey or undead? Because two of those people you mentioned have been worm food for a long time now.
We will get around to this one. I think there are a few that take priority, but this one is on the "we should do it one day" list.
Let's see... were I commissioning this book today, the 10 chapters would be...
1: Dryads
2: Satyrs
3: Nymphs
4: Pixies
5: Redcaps
6: Quicklings
7: Gremlins
8: Leprechauns
9: Mites
10: Nerieds

That looks like a good start to me. Especially the quicklings and redcaps.
For an equally intriguing "Mythic Monsters Revisited" I would probably go with:
1: Kraken
2: Medusa/Gorgon
3: Centaur
4: Basilisk
5: Lamia
6: Hydra
7: Couatl
8: Chimera
9: Sphinx
10: Harpy

But would we get a greater medusa with a serpentine lower body?
Nice list, but I would seriously champion the grig for inclusion.

Sweet! I love what Paizo has done with Lamias so far, so I'd definitely love to see what you did with the rest. Especially the Sphinx. I've always felt they had lots more potential.
And then, for me: Classic Cryptids Revisited
1: Yeti/Sasquatch
2: Sea Serpent
3: Mothman
4: Chupecabra
5: Death Worm
6: Sandpoint Devil
7: Hodag
8: Thunderbird
9: Globster
10: Water Orm

oh no. You HAVE to do this. You HAVE to

Cool! In highschool, I read every book my library had on Bigfoot/Sasquatch/Yeti. And I fondly remember the old Johnny Quest Episode with the Yeti.

Anyone know of a decent fey creation guide?
What about Brownies? If I recall correctly, there were several different types. I remember the Buckawn Brownie - or do I?
Twin Agate Dragons wrote: Anyone know of a decent fey creation guide? The only half-way decent one I can think of was in the Dragon Compendium, which I think they still sell here at Paizo.

Hooray!
Now, off to wikipedia to look up some near the bottom of the list that I have never frikken heard of ... (and I thought I was a cryptid fan ...)
