Here is it, people—the announcement we've all been waiting for—sort of. In Pathfinder #30, on page 75,
"Radovan’s adventures will be continued in a big way with next year’s launch of the new Pathfinder Fiction line. In one of the line’s first novels, tentatively titled Prince of Wolves, Radovan’s journeys take him out of Cheliax and into the mist-shrouded realm of Ustalav ... Only time—and a new novel—will tell."
I'm surprised there isn't more talk of this, considering the anticipation!

Expect more information in the next few days.
And for the record, you ain't heard half of it yet...
My deductive skills lead me to the following conclusions:
1) There will be at least three novels announced, as the one we know of must constitute less than half of the total.
2) Other authors will be even more jaw-droppingly awesome.
3) They're already in the mail to me and will be here next week.

Nice title. I approve.

Yeah, I'm thinking the other announcement is going to be BIG. Because it will be about someone who lives in Texas. And he will have the same initials as Mairkurion.
But I'm thrilled to finally hear how Pf fiction will begin, and congratulate Dave Gross on captaining the maiden voyage. He had me from the first time he posted about his new characters here online.

That's my take on it as well. Three Novels sounds like a good entry point as it gives a good spread of difference without overloading us.
I'd be interested to see if Paizo go with the established (by other companies) "Trilogy" format, or whether they will all be single novels (although some could continue the adventures of Heroes from previous books).

ALSO: Kudos to you, Yoda, for taking care of those of us waiting. Maybe you should adopt Scoop as an alias...or maybe we should wait to see what happens with my predictions!
I don't have the pdfs yet, but people who do tell me things because I run the wiki. Even more reason for people to get involved!

Ok, I spoke a bit too soon. Looks like the formal announcement will be coming tomorrow or Friday, and not later this afternoon.
We decided we wanted to make the product listing and the formal announcement happen at the same time, and for a variety of reasons that's looking like Friday.
Thanks for your patience. I promise it will be worth the wait!

Much more about this to come in the next several hours, with a formal product page scheduled to go up on Friday.
As they say in Hazzard County, keep your ears on, folks!
Update: we probably won't have a lot more to share until Friday... and probably very late in the day Friday.

Ah, heck. I may have forgotten to sign in until after I made some of those changes. :(

I'm curious as to what format the novels will be in, Planet Stories volume size or standard novel dimensions?
It's been said before that they would be mass-market sized in order to get the most exposure. With the big names they've hinted they have lined up, there's a real possibility the books could appear at airports, prominent displays in B&N or Borders, and they're going to reach the widest market if the books fit on the shelves and displays these vendors already have. Of course, they may have changed this aspect of the line, but from the many threads on the topic here and in person discussions at PaizoCon and GenCon, that's the impression I get.
But all will be answered in less than 48 hours.

This suits me just fine. As I work rather late, and am almost never on before work, it'll give me something to look forward to.
