Probably not. It involved three koalas, a wheel of Devon cheddar, two rolls of cling-film, Roy Orbison, and a Poodle. A dirty, filthy poodle. Need brain bleach now.
So if it involved koalas was Flash there?

Only if they were the females in Koala suits. I wouldn't go near real ones, they're vicious little sh!ts when you get 'em riled up.

It's never too late! You might regret it, but that doesn't mean it was too late...

Thanks for the welcome, folks! :)

It's good to be back; I'm a semi-old (relatively speaking, well not really; posted back in early 2009) poster returning home.

A Happy 4th of July to you Americans!
Incidently, you can say us Aussies live in the future.

Morning, all. What did I miss?

Celestial Healer wrote:

An intoxicated poodle.

Silver Crusade

It is hot hot hot here. We were in Rome for the weekend, and it was about 95 every day with no breeze, blazing hot sunshine, and relatively high humidity. I think I partially liquified.

Anyway, despite that, it was enjoyable. We got to see the Forum and the Colisseum with an art history professor as our guide. The ruins really come alive when someone can explain to you what they are. It makes me even more excited about seeing Pompeii and Herculenaeum next weekend (although the heat will be even worse because there's no shade in those archaeological sites). Because Paul and I aren't actually taking the art history class that is part of this program, we were free to either join them places (like we did in the Forum) or wander off on our own, so we skipped the Vatican because I have been there and Paul has been there twice. It worked out because the pace of touring the city was exhausting. I don't know how those professors have so much energy. My feet have blisters all over my toes and heels from all the walking.

Anyway, now that we're back in Pescara for the weekdays, we are planning on resting so that the weekend won't be quite so exhausting as it was this time around. Next weekend we are going to Sorrento, the Amalfi coast, Naples, Pompeii, Herculanaeum, Paestum, and the island of Capri. (It seems like a lot, but I think they're planning on touring those archaeological sites in one day.) I've been told we will make a point to go to a good pizzeria during the short time we will be in Naples, since even other Italians admit they have the best pizza. (They should - it was their idea.)

Anyway, that's about it.

Speaking of which, apparently if you feed aspirin to seagulls, they explode.

No, please, no. I do not like people that torture, mutilate or kill animals. Just please don't.

Ahem, the above can be found under gullible in the dictionary...

Well, the grand Fourth of July celebration was enjoyed by all, despite the disruptions caused by a surley and whiny LT. Meanwhile, Sarah was terrified of her upcoming dentist visit, not knowing if the doctor would show up in clown makeup like last time. And across town, Kirk and Derek were fighting for their lives against....No, wait! That's my soap opera.

Scarab Sages

And, oh yeah, morning all. Work is closed today, so I get to lounge around for a bit, then bring the wife to the dentist, then go off to the store for groceries at some point.
