Wizard's Bonded Item and Pearls of Power

Rules Questions

Can I use a Pearl of Power to recall the unprepared spell that was cast via my bonded item?

Also, assume the pearl is the appropriate level for the spell.

For example, I did not memorize Magic Missile for the day, but cast it anyway via my bonded item. Can I use my Pearl of Power (1st) to recast Magic Missile a 2nd time?

Thanks,
Dawstlin

No. Pearls of Power only work with prepared spells, not spontaneous spells. Pretty clear to me.

Good call. Thanks!

Can a Pearls of Power be my bonded Item? I see no reason why not.

Sure, but it doesn't change anything.

As a DM I'd rule it's just a strand of beads, until you're high enough level to enchant them into Pearls of Power. Giving a first level wizard another free 1st-level spell slot is kinda out of whack. By 2nd or 3rd level you would have the 500gp to do it though.
