So, just another question?

Half Celestial takes/does what to a characters level etc?

Thinking of going Chaotic Good Half celestial Rogue Bard, with maybe a dash of 'Elf' on the side. :)

Cheers!

You can take up one above average (6 per level, in the fighter's case, 5 for a rogue, 4 for a wizard, and so on) after first level, max first, or you can roll; your choice.

Standard wealth for a 5th level character, which, unless I'm mistaken, is 10,500 gp.

Half celestial would be LA +4, so you'd start out with only one class level.

Yes, you may.

Do I lose the Fiendish Sorcery then?

*nods* salutes *runs off to start the creative process. :D

Cheers!

Yes, you do.

Okay, i ended up with the swashbuckler. I will finish the last details tomorrow.

Which source is the swashbuckler you're using from? I don't recall the one in Complete Warrior having Weapon Training.

okay, character ready and willing, whenever you are ready.

Ruyovo and Garuda, at your service.
(purchased some consumables, changed feat to Dodge)

Sorry to sound a tad thick, but...

So, a Half celestial/Elven/Rouge(Bard to come later) would still start with the equivalent of Fifth level starting moneys? Just the HP's will be low etc?

Yes, the starting equipment will be the same amount as for the other characters.

Thank you for the prompt reply.

Cheers.

Camris here, this is a first look at Elros.
His stats and feats are pretty solid, but remember, he's still under construction.

Shadow Lodge

This sounds interesting... can i use the BOED to repesent bening a sevent to Uriel the Herald of Death

Sorry. Read tome of battle as tome of secrets, so both the swashbuckler and the artificer i made was from ToS.

Hmm. Will have to do some rethinking then, but i will still have him finished today.

BOED being the Book of Exalted Deeds?

Material from that may be allowed, yes, but on a case by case basis.

Okay i have at last decided to go with a Psion from the XPH. Since there is already a summoner in the group it will definitely not be a shaper.

Just putting the working character up. No great details as yet. Just something to show my interest and progress.

Alias of Sunset

Hit Point Rolls:
Rogue 2nd Level: 1d8 ⇒ 4
Sorcerer 3rd Level: 1d6 ⇒ 5
Sorcerer 4th Level: 1d6 ⇒ 3
Sorcerer 5th Level: 1d6 ⇒ 6

Do you want us to use traits Belltrap? I didn't see anything about it, just wondering.

Shadow Lodge

Btw I am not doing monk Vow of Poverty. With that out of the way the concept is he or she is the clean up. This person is the one to call when redemption is not possible.

I don't think they're in the PRD, are they? If they aren't, give me a bit of time to hunt the paizo ones down and I'll get back to you on them.

Did you have anything specific in mind? Classes like the slayer of Domiel or the fist of Raziel can be reworked for different angelic patrons.

Shadow Lodge

The 3 prc that embody what i have in mind are

1) divine crusader

2) PIOUS TEMPLAR

3) Anointed Knight.

I think this one might be a grey area but also a Malconvoker.

Anointed Knight is fine for play, as are all the others.

Is there a gold piece limit you want to keep on a single item?

I'd rather you not spend it all on one item.

Is the Elven Thinblade from the Complete Warrior approved? It's like a rapier only 1d8 damage instead of 1d6 and exotic for non elves.

Elros comes into the room and sees Nadariel dressed exactly like him. He sighs and says; "I'll go change."

Elros of Amrothe' wrote:

:) no need to. I'm changing him into a human psion

Also, what is your convention for hit points per level? Do we roll for them, take the average, take the max?

Belltrap wrote:

LOL, ok.

The elven thinblade is allowed, yes.

this is what Belltrap said to me about Hit Points, Elros of Amrothe', i just took the 6 per level as apposed to rolling, virtual dice seem to hate me at the moment.

Does Weapon Finesse work for melee touch attacks also? Like for spells.

Syoryx wrote:

Yes.

I just need a description and he is done. You get a chance to look at the traits Belltrap?

Shadow Lodge

Um, raising hand for the second game if there is no room. I'd like to try a level 10 summoner of Meretath, since I'd like to see how a mid-level Summoner works(I'm already play testing one a 1st level).

Shadow Lodge

is the first game full?

RPG Superstar 2009 Top 16

Ok if theres room in the second game I'm creating a human Cavalier, Order of the Shield, defender of the downtrodden human race.

Character under construction, here''s what I've got so far.

Syoryx wrote:

Yes, and right now, I'm afraid to say I'm inclined to say no traits.

Cool with me, Thanks.

Still here, adding a post to show my enthusiasm. Sorry for the delay and tardiness. Will finish the character shortly.

Oh, and 10,500 Gp starting money? Correct?

Again, sorry for the delay.

Status Report:
Ekeebe (CG Human Fighter): You look like you're all set, aside from a few errors. Dodge and its subsequent feats require Dex 13, and currently Verik only has Dex 12. Also, keep in mind that Dodge now increases you AC by 1. With weapon training, your attack bonuses for both the +1 greatsword should be +13 (+5 BAB, +5 Str, +1 WT, +1 WF, +1 enhancement bonus). Remember to remove traits. Your equipment checks out fine. You're pretty much good to go.

Fanguad (NG Aasimar Summoner): Like Ekeebe, keep in mind Dodge requires Dex 13. Will should be +5 (+4 class, +1 Wis), not +6, unless I'm missing something. Are you two-handing the longsword? Perception bonus should be +3, not +2, due to your Wisdom bonus being +1. Linguistics is a class skill, so that's actually +6, not +3. Eidolons get max hp at 1st level, so Garuda's hp should be 54. Other than that, looks like everything checks out, though I may need to run the numbers again, because the first time I went through it looked like you shortchanged yourself.

Celestial Half-Porc (NE Tiefling Rogue/Sorcerer): Remember Eschew Materials is an automatic sorcerer feat, so you actually have one more to spend. Remember to figure in masterwork costs in your magic weapons and armor. Other than that, I think you're good to go.

Zurai (CG Elven Witch): Still need to see equipment, but that aside, you're good.

Camris (NG Elven Fighter/Sorcerer): By +2 bow, do you mean a +1 longbow of shocking, or a +2 longbow of shocking? Also, your untrained skills look a little off, particularly where there are negatives.

Kasper Outzen (LN Human Telepath): Everything checks out so far.

Sunset (? Half-Celestial Half-Elf Rogue): Yes, 10,500 gp for your start wealth.

catman: It's whoever finishes their characters (stats and flavor both) first, but Ekeebe, Fanguad, Celestial Half-Porc, Zurai, and Camris all seem very close to being done in this regard.

Dragonborn3: As I told catman, whoever finishes flavor and stats first gets the spots, though I don't want anyone to rush. There are still a lot of unfinished ideas floating around.

Mark Thomas (? Human Cavalier): You look like you're shortchanging yourself a bit in point buy.

Swapped Dex and Con, he is now eligible for Dodge.

Will was indeed off by one - I think I was looking at the wrong line.

He is not two-handing the longsword (although he could, I'll think about that) - he is using Arcane Strike to get +2 to damage. I built it into the attack since he will always use it (he has nothing else to spend swift actions on). He'll probably leave one hand free so he can do somatic components if necessary. If a spell has both material/focus components and somatic components, does he need two free hands?

Fixed Linguistics, Perception and Garuda's hp.

I'll post more about Garuda as well, when I get the chance.

Belltrap wrote:

Here you go; everything but a quick blurb about Shialise's personality. Note that I did change her alignment to NG to more closely mirror the Seelie Court.

I used cat statistics for the fox familiar, because there isn't a fox entry in the Bestiary and cats seemed the closest. I removed the claw attacks and the climb skill and kept everything else.

I am done, though I am having trouble with a description. I may leave it to in game situations to describe him. I moved some money around and payed for the masterwork stuff and took improved feint.

Here is Nasad Kholgi the Telepath, with stats and background completed.
