No, there aren't. There's a possibility of story collections or novels in the future, from the talk that's gone on in other threads, but nothing definite.
You can find some Golarion-based short fiction in Wayfinder #1, however.

Actually, I believe that it's been strongly hinted at that an announcement about Pathfinder Novels is immenent and likely to be made in December.
In addition, the adventure paths all feature short fiction set in Golarion that is serialized.

If you enter 'Pathfinder Fiction' and search the messageboards, you should get a wide spectrum of threads which have frequently asked about this topic.
No there are not novels set exclusively in the Pathfinder universe yet; there have been occasional posts along the lines of 'we're still lining up our ducks' from Paizo staff, but the novel line seems to be lower down the list of priorities than matters more crucial to the day-to-day survival of the company, such as getting the next big GenCon release ready, and getting the Pathfinder line out of the door to subscribers as close to on time as possible.
We see occasional tantalising hints of possible future novels, and that is all...

Slight update (I think this is news, at least I haven't heard of it before). A Pathfinder novel, Spire of Nex, is being written by none other than Erik Mona, see blog posting here (7th paragraph down).

I can't announce the launch date of Pathfinder Fiction yet, but if you read that statement closely you'll realize that I'm strongly hinting that there is an official launch date set for Pathfinder novels.
Also, the authors on deck to kick off the line are big... meaning bigger than Erik, though I guess the cat's out of the bag on that one, and you can undoubtedly expect to see a novel from him farther down the line. :)

So if you can't tell us when the launch date is, can you tell us when the announcement will be?

Exciting teasers. Is it too early to ask if Pf Fiction will be a separate subscription from Planet Stories? I fear in asking this that the answer must be, yes.
To put salt in the wound, I'm one of those that would prefer to get a Pathfinder Fiction subscription separate from Planet Stories...

To add a little clarity, I am currently writing a novel called THE SPIRE OF NEX about the Pathfinder location. As I have never written a novel before, this is more of a personal exercise than anything else. It's certainly not on any schedule, and no one has read it except for me.
In fact, it's still in outline form (albeit an outline closing in on 20,000 words). It needs to survive several leaps through flaming hoops before it becomes an honest-to-goodness Pathfinder novel, the two most significant being:
1) Me finishing it.
2) The Paizo editorial staff agreeing that it is worth publishing.
There WILL be a Pathfinder novel line, and I would love to have my book be a part of it eventually, but this is FAR from a done deal and other books by MUCH more firmly established novelists will undoubtedly precede its publication.

Will the novels feature the Iconics as main characters? *crosses fingers in hopefullness*
Very likely, during the earlier discussions Paizo said they understand we want more on the iconics and they'd likely get some novel time.
I'm hoping for...
Ed Greenwood
Elaine Cunningham
Paul Kemp
Of them all I think Elaine is probably the most likely. Paul I hear is down with WOTC.. and I don't think Ed is really working on anything. So come on Paizo, bring in the Realms A-Team.

1) I believe you're all going to be pretty happy with our author choices, and this thread confirms that.
2) There's no intention of combining the Planet Stories and Pathfinder Fiction lines... while we of course hope for a lot of crossover in the audiences, that's not enough to justify making people who want one pay for both (especially since the Pathfinder novels will be mass-market paperbacks instead of trade paperbacks, making them significantly cheaper).
3) It's likely that we'll do something with the iconics eventually, but for the time being we're letting the authors introduce new characters of their own, under the theory that there are innumerable folks of interest on Golarion besides just the iconics, and also that authors with more free reign over their characters' personalities will write better novels.

I'm pretty sure it's free rein, not free reign. (Edit: Apologies, but this one aggravates me.)

If Paizo nailed down Ed, Elaine, and Paul then it's just a matter of time before they snag Bob!
I hear Margaret and Tracy aren't writing anything for Dragonlance in the near future. :P

I love that as well. The authors listed here come up with GREAT characters so why not right?

I have no trouble finding Pathfinder Fiction...on the net. :)
Hey now. Don't go telling Paizo about all those stories about Seoni and Merisiel... umm never. :P
