She is much more unique than agent Starling. She's also a gourmand, but I'd say...ah...more a devotee of the raw food movement.

Did someone call for me? Cause I was massaging the Messiah's holy feet.

I love it when the other parents look at me like I'm out of my mind. :)
It's warm and rainy today, so there are lots of mud puddles. So I let Bryce play in the mud on the way home from school. It's just dirt. It washes off. You shoulda seen the horrified looks I got.

That's weird. My post didn't show up on the thread. Leastways not for me.

lol. Yes, they do. Some of these people have no idea how to let their kids just be kids. Especially here in overscheduled child central.

<RANT>

That drives me frakking nuts! Those people that send their kid to school, then have ballet, scouts, T-Ball, Gymnastics, Piano lessons, etc. every night so they don't actually see the kid except for 30 minutes-1 hour a night. And that's just for dinner, and bath time. I once heard someone say they did this so they would be free to live their life without their child interfering..... WTF!? Why not just get your freaking tubes tied so you couldn't have them in the first place! Kids don't interfer with your life, the become your life! If you can't deal with that, then don't have kids! </RANT>

Note I do not include parents who have one or two activities for the kids, or those that do these things with their children.... I coached my older two's Softball team, The Lugnuts, this past summer.

Don't even think about it sweetie. You know Solnes will hurt you if you do. ;)

I fully believe that a child should have *an* outside activity, maybe two if they're really interested. Having every day filled with a bunch of things they probably don't want to do, not so much.

My daughter was in an Upwards basketball program last year, and she had a lot of fun and wants to do it again this year. There was another girl on her team who is tall and more natural at playing basketball. But her father kept criticizing her after games and during practice. The team lost the last game, and this poor girl was crying afterwards. How crappy is that?

*blush* Well, thanks. I try at least.

Speaking of the spawn, I think he's going for the ranger class. He's currently dual-wielding his toy rapier and his toy broadsword. And I'm okay with this as long as he doesn't start giving his swords funny names. ;)

I incorporated most of your changes, sat on it until this afternoon, and looked at it again. Besides the paper being crumpled (buh-dump-dump), I noticed the very...first...sentence began with a prepositional phrase, which I think is a big no-no. Oops.

I really appreciate you taking the time to look through it.

Parents like that tick me off. I had a mother that yelled and at her daughter when I was coaching, I warned her about that twice, then when she started it up again, I threw her out of the game, and banned her from comming anymore. Her father brought her after that. And I thought I could be too critical of my kids. :/
