Couldn't have said it better myself! Not surprising, since the words came from Boomer...lol. Which reminds me, thanks for the awesome rendition of Father Kinterkoff during the Convocation -- I'd be happy to lift a mug with you to Cayden Cailean any day (or whichever god Kinterkoff is pretending to worship at the time)!! :-)

I accidentally posted this elsewhere, but this thread seemed to be a better place to post it. My apologies for redundancy.
I only have two lamentations from Paizocon:
1. I didn't have a voice for most of it.
2. I didn't get into very many conversations because of point 1, above.
But otherwise, I had a great time!
Thanks to Tim for organizing the Meet & Eat--the seafood was fantastic!
Thanks to Boomer & your GF for hanging out with me--if you ever find your way to mid-Missouri, stop by and say hello!
Thanks to Gavin (Gavgoyle) for the ride to and from the Meet & Eat.
Thanks to Zuxius for the great beer.
A hearty thank you to F. Wesley Schneider for running a preview of his Ustalav project. Playing this game was, for me, the highest point of a magnificent convention. I will watch this project with great interest for some time! Wes, if you would be kind enough in the future to let me know how things are going with Bastard Hall, please send me an e-mail or two!
Thanks to Lilith for the cookie--it feels like I'm part of a club now!
Thanks to Erik and Lisa and James(Jacobs) and James(Sutter) and Jason and Wes for all of the cool little previews!
Thanks to (name omitted to protect the guilty) for letting me look through as yet unreleased products! You know who you are--and you rock for bending the rules!
Thanks to everyone who ran the Grand Convocation and made it so much fun! A shout out here to Sean who channelled the servant of Asmodeus so well and to Jason Nelson who ran an amazing Grand Melee round.
Thanks to Boomer, Rob, and everybody else who played in my Hands of the Muted God game--I hope you all had fun!
A very special thank you to Erik and Josh for doing such a great job of hosting the banquet and making the trivia quiz so much fun. I laughed so hard that I lost my voice again!!
Thanks to yoda8myhead for winning me a gift certificate! Your Paizo knowledge is astounding!
Thanks to Turin the Mad and your fiancee for hanging out with me at Denny's!
Thanks to Vic for recognizing my e-mail address when I purchased something at the Paizo stand. This may seem like a little thing, but it made me feel welcome and appreciated.
And last but certainly not least, a profound thank you to Joshua J. Frost--who organized the event, who allowed me to run Society Scenarios, who lent me a dry erase marker, and who blasted my open call submission in a way that made me eager to try again. You truly created an amazing and memorable event that I want to return to next year, and the next, and the next, forever.
Paizo is the best entertainment company ever, period.
Thank you all!

The ball is already rolling on PAIZOCON3: The Revenge. We have a meeting about it this week, in fact. And you can bet your asses I'll be the master of ceremonies for next year's banquet--start studying now, the questions will be HARDER.
Thats good. This time around I'll be sure to be well versed in my Pathfinder knowledge so Yoda8myhead and Lilith won't have to do all the work.

A-HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Awesome!
It was a treat to get to slip him in to the Convocation - he's a bad man, and now he's CANON!
Also, I'd just like to echo kikai13 (and everyone else who said it!) with a strong and hearty THANK YOU!!! to Zuxius. If there was one thing about the Con that kicked it from 100% awesome to 111%, it was Zux!

I had a great time in the half-dozen hours I was there. It was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable conventions I've been at in some time. I especially liked meeting Adam Daigle and Lilith and Friadoc and the other folks I only knew as their screen names. Good times.
It was a pleasure meeting you, too, Mike. You're an enjoyable fellow, very easy to talk to, even with my odd (self-imposed) streak I had for part of the con.
Seriously, as many folks can attest to, perhaps even decry, I'm a yakkity bastard whose gregarious streak is a mile-wide and I've zero issue talking to folk...yet, well, I developed an odd issue with respect to the Paizo folk and their guests.
It got better, thankfully.
Anyhow, PaizoCon was awesome and if it's the only convention I ever attend, I feel quite satisfied with that. Heck, I'm already plotting and planning for it next year, so I must have liked it since it was my first and I wanna go again. *grins*

It was a highlight of the con to finally be able to meet you in person, Mike. I only wish that I would have had more time to talk and didn't have to run to that seminar. Perhaps next year or at another convention.

There is so much about PaizoCon that I enjoyed, that I'd be hard pressed to cover it all and do it justice. I met a lot of great people, fans and pros a like, and had some awesome conversations, games, and general good times that it was a blast.
Thanks to my two roomies, Gavin and Tom, as not only did they help me afford being able to come by sharing some of their space with me, but they made it even more fun. Two solid and cool folks there, even more Tom, who I woke up to be let back in the room on the last day.
Actually, there is one way I can express how awesome PaizoCon was for me, as the whole experience for me had two of the most frustrating and disheartening driving experiences of my life, yet I still look at the whole thing as being awesome. I turned an 9 hour driving to the convention site into a 12 hour drive and then, on the return trip, it became 29.5 hours and I ended up sleeping in my car, on the side of 197, and I'm still excited about PaizoCon.
*chuckles*
Definitely awesome times with some cool folk and some awesome gaming.

Good to see you got home, Rob. Did you have much trouble?
Yeah, I did, but it's all good. I made it, at least, although I didn't get home until about nine hours ago. It's weird, but it feels surreal to me, as if it didn't really happen, yet I know it did. Even now, after it's over, it has this hollow feel to it, a disconnection.
But, that said, on the greater scale of things, it was just a lousy drive thanks to some annoying car troubles and it could be very, very worse. So, it's all good.
Hope you're feeling better and that your family is well and good. Thanks for the fun times and the cot.

This was indeed one of the best weekends I've had ever. I also want to thank all the folks, both Paizo employees and fans alike, who made this thing happen.
I'd also like, well, everyone, for being so damn cool. And for so many folks knowing and liking my work on the paper minis. That was awesome beyond belief.
I'd pull folks out for special praise, but I don't want to leave any one out due to a mind like a steel sieve. Let's just say that those of you deserving of extra praise probably already know who you are, and probably got it in-person at the Con.
Here's to seeing y'all next year at PaizoCon III: Revenge of the Revenge of the Con's Revenge!

Thank you everyone!
As someone who is new to Pathfinder, this convention was quite the experience. Every person I talked to about anything (Paizo related or not) was extremely enthusiastic and emphatic, an atmosphere of people who are enjoying eachother's company!
Not only did I leave there awestruck, but I left there knowing that this community is not one you will find just anywhere.
I look forward to a year of getting to know Pathfinder, and while it was sad when it was over, there is still an excitement for the future.
There needs to be more of this in the world!
Next year!

And special kudos to the Shackletons for teaching me the three words I didn't know I desperately longed to hear: LIVE ACTION YETISBURG! (I got a hobby horse!)
Hmm.. previous post devoured by monster.
Mike, I have said elsewhere how much I appreciated the enthusiasm from you and Josh. Your game rocks! I hope that everyone that got a free copy of Yetisburg at PaizoCon plays it, and that they enjoy it as much as I do.
Turns out that I am going to GenCon after all. I wonder if I can find 20 recruits there...

It was a wonder con everyone! I wanna give a shoot out to my Werewolf Players on Saturday Night! Oooow! Ooooow! (<---Not a Werewolf! I swear!) Another shot out to the people involved in the 9 hour game on Friday that Lou DMed so I could make sure to get my game on! All the people in the infamous Rm 247! Great beer! Great Movies! Great times! Also all the people at Iron GM for giving me pencils and then giving me pretty good scores on my art even though I haven't really sat down to draw like that for a few years.
Special thanks to the Argesta's for keeping me company in all our perverted and 'special' ways. Another to Ed Healy. Although you weren't there alot, you totally set the mood I had for the weekend and it all went awesome. Daigle, for just being Daigle and for bringing THE CANDYMAN! James M. for running that short, but fun Cthulhu game on Sunday! And last but not least. Ross, for getting Boomer and I to and from the airport to the hotel!
Everyone was so nice and polite. I really appreciate it guys!

Ah...I had the same chauffeur. And for only being in Seattle for about a month, he did quite well.
Also, Emily, please send me a copy of that Superstar fist-bump pic from the Meet-and-Eat. That's totally gonna get shared with all my friends back home.

That picture rocks the house, as do you sweet Emily!
(P.S. Stricia was glad to be able to meet you in person after Boomer was talking you up last fall on our VCON trip, the ol secretly mushy romantic guy that he is.)

and drink some of that amazing Pathfinder beer!
Whoa! Hey! Someone say beer?
Alright! Beer in 2010! I am throwing the gauntlet down for next year!
As for PaizoCon, I am a completely changed fellow. I have come down from the mountain to enlighten everyone. This was the best time I have had since junior high school lunchroom. Give it....a shot!

Thank You Mr. Boomer.
I was especially hoping to get some time to speak with you. You may find it hard to believe, but I was beginning to believe that wasn't going to happen. To my surprise, everything has a time and place when it is "right". I left that to the fates.
If you must know (which you never asked), my favorite scene in Fight Club "The Film" was when they were in the car and Brad Pitt's character yelled at Edward Norton to just let go of the steering wheel. They argued a bit, and finally Edward put both his hands down and let the wheel do the driving. Of course the car flipped, however, that was my attitude through the whole convention. Let it take control and see where it takes you.
I will try to give everything I do 112% till next PaizoCon.
