I really don't want to go to work today.

Me neither. I wish I could fake up a cough like in the school daze and just stay at home reading. Ahh, yout..

Scarab Sages

Sadly, I'm rumored to already be at work.....

I just got /back/ from work. And learned I have to work a completely unnecessary extra day next week. Blech.

Liberty's Edge

PTOLUS!

And a NEW PLAYER!

Even with the extra workday, life may be good.

You would think someone in these wildly failing corporations like the casinos I work at would figure out that underpaid + overworked = lousy customer service = upset customers = further loss of revenue, wouldn't you?

But no. They just keep on madly hacking away to save their quarterly profits, the idjits.

I did! But then again, that comes from having a dog attack and nearly kill you before you reach kindergarten... Not something I recommend.

Somethings screwy with Paizo for me today... lots of posts getting eaten, and I've got three tabs that just won't load.

It's running a bit slow. I think the site was effectively down for about an hour.

Phew! Glad I got here in time. It was almost an hour since last post (52 minutes)!

Yeah I had that chance too, but I chose the ice cream over the attack.

What was I thinking? ;p

This thread was born 400 yrs ago in the highlands of Scotland... it is immortal... and it is not alone.

Dark Archive

Anyone else reading GeneXt or GeneXt United? It is some of the best stuff coming out of Marvel right now, in my opinion.

Finally got my precription. Sheesh. The doctor's office had to send it twice, and then the ditzy tech couldn't find it after it was filled. Missed a couple days while dealing with all this annoyance, which is NOT good. Should not miss days of taking antidepressants. :(

There's something good coming out of Marvel Comics right now??

;P

A few things. Just stay away from the X titles, they screwed them up so bad as to be beyond repair. :(

The New Avengers is about my favorite one right now.

But the kidlet has been looking forward to his birthday party since last fall, so we'll pony up even though we can't afford it...
What have you got planned? I know that feeling though...ours wants like a go out birthday. We are leaning more towards a tye dye party. Although a trip to maze mania would be fun!
We're doing a bowling party. By the time you've paid for everything it's between $15-$18 per kid. Yech. I tried to think of things we could even do if we had a party at the house, but came up with nothing. And he's been to soooo many ritzy b-day parties this year. Nothing like setting expectations high.

Last year we did a midevil tourney with joist and pin the tail on the dragon for our oldest, even had the kids make their own crowns... unfortunatly over half the guest cancelled the day of the party. :(

New Avengers is GREAT!!!

But I'm more of a DC Nation guy.

What do you read Moorluck??

The Exchange

Mostly Marvel titles, New Avengers, The older X-men(pre depowering) I like the Runaways, The Mighty Thor, it's hard to find a descent selection here though. I just don't understand what happened to the comics, I don't like most of the newer stuff.

Spoiler:
And, to answer you're demand for two dollars:

"My little brother got his arm stuck in the microwave. So my mom had to take him to the hospital. My grandma dropped acid this morning, and she freaked out. She hijacked a busload of penguins. So it's sort of a family crisis. Bye!"

Little kids just have no appreciation for sweet things. It's all about sucking the sugar down to get hyper, rather than appreciating the experience. Tsk.

I've had to stop and calculate my own age before. I have no idea how old most of my friends are. Age is such an ridiculous measuring stick.
