I recently had a thought, if all we do is egg people, then people are going to expect it and then it becomes a pattern and almost....(shudders)lawful. However, if we do not egg people then we as a species will cease to exist as egging is our only means of reproducing.
The solution is obviously to tie everyone's left shoe to thier pants leg.

People expect us to perform random acts of chaos. Sticking to one thing breaks their expectation and sends their frail little minds into a confused spiral of insanity that will eventually lead to embracing the perfection that is chaos.
It's like flipping a coin and only have it come up heads. It will drive them mad. Mad I tell you!
