I'll avenge you foolhardy cleric...and I believe it was Pavo who ran upstairs...not Dorran.

keep the same rolls. "Sorin!, you'll not fall this day...Hookshanks..die!"
with that she attacks Hookshanks, bringing the heavy blade down upon Hookshanks.

I figured as much, games don't last very long after a DM disappears, luckily this game is from an AP so it's pretty easy to pick up....and I personally think it's a great group we put together, lots of personality here, would hate to see this one dissolve.
This has got to be one of my favorite characters of all time...so I WON't Let this game completely die...
BTW, do we still have everyone watching the thread? Haven't seen Pavo post in a week or so...when it hits 2 weeks no DM, I'll take over. So let me get a head count.

Dorran Kelvar |

it has recently come to my attention that the person that i have left in charge of my dnd games (my younger brother) has been cheating on his/ my rolls... as of right now not sure how many games he has done this to but i have already taken actions to keep it from happening again... i have changed all my passwords and banned him from using my accounts... sorry for any problems this may have cuased

As Malvoisin has not returned from his 2 week absence, I will now take over the DMing of this Thread. If at a later date Mal returns, I will hand the reigns over to him, but be ready in case another such event occurs. I have been running an Eberron Game for a couple months, so this won't be my first DMing in PBPville.
Now, let's get back in the game.
Dorran, as nothing has happened in the last 2 weeks, I wouldn't be worried about it.
Clandru, you being making the decent into the darkness.
(I'll break out my stuff at home tonight, just know this:)
GAME ON!!!

DM X |

YOU my dear sir are correct...though you see Zellara as my avatar, I am a male...heh. I just thought the Zellara avatar was particularly appropriate for this adventure.

Pavo If you're meant to be in the Room Malv put you in then read this:
to make the eyes water. To the east, a large wooden trough
holds a hideous mound of half-rancid fish, seaweed, and
brine. Filthy seawater and fish blood stain the floor around
this trough. A pair of wooden chutes lead from this trough
through holes in the northern wall into a larger room to the
east. To the west, a desk and chair sit in one corner while a tall
cabinet sits in the other.

DM X |

Sorin Sorin fights back the pain in his chest and drops his bow and draws his sword. He steps down to start to flank the gnome and stabs with his sword. Inflicting a vicious wound.
Hookshanks attempts to slice Sorin's throat, "If I fall, so do you boy!"
Pavo Moves across the room, opens the door to see the furious assault between Sorin and Hookshanks.
Yargin "Kwan..!" Yargin fearfully shouts trying to use his wand, but Dorran grips his swords and unleashes a full round attack on the man holding the wand, cutting him down interrupting his wand use, he crumples, the wand rolling to Dorran's feet.
Marra "Sorin!, you'll not fall this day...Hookshanks..die!"
with that she attacks Hookshanks, bringing the heavy blade down upon Hookshanks. Causing him to crumple, his eyes fill with fear as he falls at Sorin's feet
End of Combat upstairs.
Clandru Clandru shouts 'Dorran , he is downstairs ! Come back , we must not give him the chance to escape ! '
He then cautiously descend by the ropes

Marrala the Lost |

Whispers to Sorin
"He's all yours Sorin...and there's no nosy priest around, let justice be done..."
Marra rushes out of the room, having heard Clandru's call...when she reaches the banister, she leaps over the edge...
Acrobatics to take no dmg from a purposeful leap off the banister. 1d20+2=17

Dorran Kelvar |

Dorran poises his blades for a killing blow but holds as he hears the shouts coming from below and says to the crumbled mass on the floor " Well this is your lucky day as my fight is not with you but should you EVER return to harm these kids then I shall have your guts for garb" with that Dorran heads out and downstaiirs to aid Clandru

Sorin |

Sorin pulls a rolled up piece of paper from his belt pouch and unrolls it. "I kept this note all these years for the chance to give it back."
He puts it on Hookshanks chest and plunges his dagger into the gnomes heart pinning the note to his chest.
Sorin watches the gnomes life slip away and then grabs the gnomes arms and drags him through the door and out in the hall. He stops and reaches into his belt pouch again and pulls out two bottles. He drinks one and throws down the bottle.
Potion of cure light wounds: 6
Sorin turns back to the room and shouts to Yargin "Here catch!!" and tosses the bottle of acid at the wounded man. Sorin turns and leaves the room not even caring if the man catches it or not.
DM you can do with Yargin as you want.
Sorin drags the dead gnome to the edge of the balcony and kicks him over. He runs down starts and kick the gnome through the hole. "I am coming for you next you slime." he shouts down into the hole and then slides down the rope.

DM X |

You're CN, the only thing out of alignment would be a sense of justice...rather than just moving on with your life...
Hookshanks (at 0 HP) has a look of sheer terror in his eyes as Sorin pulls out the note over his helpless form...Sorin pies the note to Hookshanks chest through the heart, and pauses to watch the life drain from him, as his his breath slows and finally stops...
Yargin lies on the ground bleeding...unconscious...

Marrala the Lost |

As Marra leaps over the banister, the groggy children make startled yelps as she lands with a thud and tumbles next to Clandru.
"Heya priest, Sorin was sliced open something fierce upstairs...Hookshanks cut his chest with a wicked kurki, he could prolly use some of your tender ministrations when we're done, any sign o' that slime, Gaedren?"

Pavo Alazario |

As Pavo opens the door, his mind goes blank as he takes in the scene of murder before him. He had no idea what relation the halfling had with the now deceased gnome, but he would be sure to confort Sorin on that fact, after they were through here. Seeing the halfling take off, he follows, still on a desperate search for his sister.

Dorran Kelvar |

Dorran's expression doesnt change much when he see the note. He understood just how Sorin felt and still feels and with part of his revenge being executed Dorran takes solace in the fact the the crooked gnome will never harm another person. Just as Dorran begins to head out of the room he remembers the wand and goes back quickly to retrieve it and heads back to meet up with the rest of his companions.

DM X |

Marra hooks the grapple around the staircase post, and pulls it snug.
She then drops wraps it around herself, then drop the rope through the hole, and swings out over the opening...She looks around and then drops through, swinging over to the building supports...she then wraps the rope end around the pylon, and begins to climb through the braces. Dropping onto the lower dock near the door. She listens at the door while grabbing a sack off of her backpack, and motions for the rest to come down.
While Clandru is watching Marra's rope-use, Sorin drags Hookshanks to the edge of the opening...
You notice an orange reflection on the water...fluttering as if the water itself is on fire...

Clandru KRUPTER |

grinning grimly "Don't worry priest, I'm sure his soul is going to a gooood place...nice n warm."
"I heard Iomedae likes those who bring justice to the world, what good does your god do?"
He is the main reason such thing as civilization exist but now is not the time to discuss this
As for Gaedren , I don' care where his soul go . I just want ALL the people he wronged to know he has met his just desserts .Clandru will move cautiously toward the door (moving at half speed there )

Flashback (Before Marra descended the rope):
"That's just what I intend to deliver...just desserts...justice...I believe we have an accord."
DM X |

You grabbed the wand as Sorin finished off the gnome. You headed down slightly ahead of Sorin, and the gnome crashing down the stairs happens are you were at the bottom of the stairway. You arrive as Marra is descending the rope.
Pavo, there are two doors in the room where the combat took place, do you examine those rooms now for your sister, or will you wait?
Clandru you begin your descent and a few seconds later the gnome slips through the opening and into the icy water below...
A hopeful cheer erupts from the children as Hookshank's form disappears into the hole.
There is a mighty splashing as the Jigsaw shark quickly devourers the gnome. (you all hope he wasn't wearing magic armor...) Then just as suddenly, the water falls silent once more...

Dorran Kelvar |

Once Marra is lowered Dorran wraps himself in a similar knot and begins to lower himself as well. Climb (1d20+3=15)
Once on the bottom, Dorran takes the wand and shows it to the group and whispers "Any of you know how about such matters? I have no knowledge of such items." As he speaks Dorran draws his bastard sword. When/ If anyone takes the wand Dorran will then draw his shortsword and head to the other door

There's only one door, it connects to the lower dock. which sits about 5 feet off the water, same as the building
