Alaina starts her day by dressing in formal priestesswear and doing a survey of the ground of her realm. Her altargirls follow along, holding censers, chanting liturgy and a host of other clerical things. She wards the realm with potent magics, trying her best to make sure that thse with bad intent will be shown. After a few hours she calls it off and flops down by the bar.
This is harder than I thought. I can't just bar evil, that's half my client base ...
Calling for a pot of tea, some muffins and a few magical codexes, she spreads out on a bistro table and begins researching.

LJ casts true seeing and does her own security sweep. She stays close to JH. Partly because there was a good chance he would flip if she tried to go off on her own. He'd been very protective since Angel had delivered her warning of betrayal. Part of her enjoyed the attention, but another part was worried. After all, the only way to truly ensure the safety of everyone was...no, she wasn't going to think about that anymore. It wasn't a path she was willing to pursue so there was no point dwelling on it. She spotted Ash by the bar and gave a little wave, then did a double take. There was something not quite...right. Something about her sister's aura was a little bit...off.

LJ frowns. She doesn't trust the raven's words. Well, he was probably right about Candle Lighter and the goddess. They weren't the most trustworthy pair. But a disease that confuses the aura of celestials? It seemed a little too convenient.

That raven really does need to try to keep up with the situation better. I've been working for the goddess all along. You should have seen the look on mother's face when I stabbed her in the back during the binding ritual, Lyn. It was truly priceless.

He glares, and disappears.
JH throws his hammer. As it travels the lion's head animates and enlarges.
No, LJ whispers, tears springing to her eyes. It was one thing to suspect. Another to see for herself. And what did Ash just say? It was her!? Her own sister was behind the suffering she had experienced while the goddess was trapped inside her body...

Poetry slashes at the eyrine with her rapier Then, using WFJ's attack as a distraction hits Ash with her death touch as well. However, the eyrine disappears before se connect with her most potent attack. A satisfying stain of blood on the rapier's blade makes her smile, as all was not in vain.
