All around them, the entire Lemming legion--what's left of it since the Defectives massacred them, that is--watches alertly. Bessy and Diswiker both stand, a few feet away from each other, each sitting on one of the points of a chalk-drawn triangle. KC beckons her to sit down inside the circle. When she does, he sits on the last point, closing the triangle.
Alright. Now, she's going to try harder than ever. Be prepared. She cannot leave this as long as the triangle is complete. I have gathered the three most powerful folk I know who all know me well. It would not work if it were only one with shared goals. Again, be prepared. We're going to start.

The priestess shrugs and steps into the circle. She then realizes that she has forgotten something. She pulls out a cell phone and has a quick conversation. Then she hangs up and dials again. After another quick conversation she tries to sit in the middle of the circle, but has some difficulties. This dress was meant for dancing, not sitting. After a few tries she finally manages to sit down. She waits expectantly.

Okay, now this ritual is incredible old, so some of it may be out of date. Just so you're warned.You will not sue for any...complications. We're clear?

The skull begins chanting. Lynora begins to feel an odd tugging, like she's being torn in two. She starts to cry out, but suddenly she is the goddess. Then she is Lynora again. Then the goddess. Kobold Cleaver is looking very strained, as is Diswiker and Bessy. None of them are gods, except Bessy, and she is a weakened one anyways. Lynora is feeling excruciating pain. By the look on KC's face, so is he. He is shouting the incantation now, and looking drained. He speaks, through gritted teeth...

So, I showed a few failed manifestations which KC managed to ward off, but the Goddess can probably manifest if she tries hard. KC isn't really god-level, and has only been lucky. The Goddess will find it difficult to leave the triangle (only if the ritual is disrupted), but she can still try to distract them. Also, you can RP her trying to fight his commands.
"WITHDRAW, GODDESS!!!"
"Ignore them, my friends! We cannot help them! If we disrupt this, we will be slain!"
The kobold shouts.
"WE NEED HELP!!!"

The kobold cannot risk ceasing the chant, and thus says nothing to them. He does, however, turn and look urgently at the Jacks.

A flash of lightning strikes the ground near the battle and Jack Hammer appears. The runes on his arms glow fiercely; red, then blue, then white. However the green threads woven among them glow brighter yet.

Jack Hammer struggles with the decision but quickly begins bashing Defectives with his hammer, swinging it in large arcs. As each is hit bursts of flame then ice then lightning are added to the punch.
JH finds himself struggling with the hammer to keep it from striking an ally

Then he collapses, only his phylactery keeping the ritual going.
Suddenly, Lynora hears a voice in her head.

Jack Hammer's eye focus on the changing form of the priestess, seeing only the form of the betrayer. His eyes glaze over and then burn with green fire. The hammer strikes no longer spark with bursts of elemental energy. Instead they resound with the power of earthquakes, splattering foes like confetti.
'YOU!', he shouts as he advances toward the triangle.

Hmm. Not sure what that was. I have no awareness of things outside. Whatever it was, I feel stronger. Like my phylactery no longer is losing energy. All the better.
*Begins moving to door*
MOOO! The cow shouts. Mooooo!
Sees the rage on Jack Hammer's face and despairs.

The air seems to thicken as JH approaches the triangle. Time slows. While the battle wears on around him the battle within him rages fiercer yet. He falters.
