Pictures?

Last year, I actually make a sketch of the item I submitted. I was wondering if pictures will be allowed of the wondrous items we submitted.

And if not, anyone want to post pictures or sketches of their wondrous items after this round is over?

I thought about suggesting this to Butterfrog, Shiney, Fakey and others about drawing the top 32. IMHO it would have to be after the contest has moved onto next round as I would hate to have a good artist with crappy mechanics win or a good item loose to poor sketching.

But it would be fun to do.

Not entirely sure what you're suggesting. Presumably, you could put up a picture for community interest and your own satisfaction, after your position for this round is decided (you're not in the top 32 or voting is over).

I'd like to see the winning 32 done up in the Pathfinder art style, it would be a cool idea.

I'll take it a step further, I'd like to see them done up as official item cards, perhaps with this year's top 32 as well.

The only folks who get custom avatars on the Paizo forums are staff, and the only two I can think of that don't have avatars that could potentially have been general avatars before they claimed them are Lisa and Jason.

Trust me, the forums are better off when people can't just stick whatever they want under their name.

not into the threads, you can post the url link to pictures uploaded to photobucket or yahoo pictures

So is there any official word on if links to pictures are allowed? A buddy of mine drew up a picture of my villain and he wanted to know if he could put the link up and let people see it.

Were I you, I'd wait with the picture until the villain vote round has ended. Same as with comments: no extra explanations until the voting, you just smile and nod and say thank you while we misunderstand your intentions :)

So... if the main focus of Round 3 is to check math, are pictures okay now, or do I need to wait a little longer?
