GM Reference Stickies

Website Feedback

Thought I'd just throw this out there.

I've been creating the "GM Reference" (ex, here) posts for the Adventure Paths since PF#1. I create the posts and link to each successive module in the path. Each time I receive my email for shipment, I "bump" the thread to give it some visibility.

While I rarely go into the "Messageboard" link, I think it would be nice to have these types of references readily available, say by a sticky.

What would be even better if these were created when a new Adventure Path has all the titles available and bumped when a new product ships.

That would be really cool! : )

Liberty's Edge

I'll just step in here for a sec and say "thanks" for your efforts, man! The "[GM Reference]" threads are invaluable!

Scarab Sages

yeah, those links rock!

tdewitt274:
It might be handy if you also post a thread for the applicable 'player's guide' when you post for a path, and link that in too. About halfway through the Curse of the Crimson Throne thread I went through all the Crimson Throne GM reference threads you'd posted, and added a post with a link to the 'Guide to Korvosa' thread, but my time for the third and fourth adventure paths has been somewhat limited, with the occasional forays I have been making into the Beta forum, and the on-going posts regarding the Campaign Setting.

Thank-you for the GM reference threads idea and keeping up with it though, and I agree it would be useful to have at least all the Adventure Path ones stickied to the tops of their respective forums. :D

Honestly, I think ALL the products should have one (just not enough time ; ). If they linked it directly in the product page, that would also be great! Even if it's an Errata post.

And thanks to everyone, just wish I could cruise the boards more often and catch some of the stuff.

I do not know if it is just me and my computer, but your thread does not go anywhere except to the listing. When I click on the entries I get the same page all over again.

I did have some difficulty setting up the first AP thread where it wouldn't show up for like 15 minutes. I also did some experimenting with the links, but they all populate fine for me.

If Vic or Gary sees this, can you guys check it out as well?

I'm also in favour of stickies.

These threads were one of the first things to catch my eye on the boards, as they indicated the level of community interest in the products.

Which led to my becoming active on the boards... then becoming a Supersciber... then volunteering at Origins and GenCon... then becoming addicted to PBP....

Curse you tdewitt!!

Doing my part to "ruin" lives ; )

Another vote for stickies..

And another word of thanks to tdewitt274!

I tried again to go through your listings and still wind up on the same page. If anyone at Paizo is listening please check this out. If not, I guess it will just be a useless link to me.

What browser are you using? I tried with firefox and they're all working fine for me...

All of those links currently contain the same content, but they're in different places—I suspect you didn't notice that you're actually moving around.

While I appreciate everyone's enthusiasm for the products, personally, I'm not real keen on having threads exist in December that are going to be empty until next July.

A compelling point Vic.

But how about having the tdewitt errata threads that exist in active Adventure Paths (like Runelords, Crimson Throne, and Second Darkness) stickied within their respective sections?

I can see not wanting to do that with future products, but...

Perhaps I should ask if there is anything to read in the various links. I get sent to the new tabs after clicking on each tab but they are still the same listing of all chapters of Legacy of Fire. Vic is correct in that each one is in a different place, but I was somehow expecting there to be something to read. Primarily because I will probably be running this AP for my group of players.

Because there is currently no product to ask informed questions on, the threads are made with the main post (This is for Gm questions on PF # ___ Titled ___ and the links to the other threads) But no one can ask specific questions, as there is no product to ask about

The thread is set up so that you can flip back and forth to the different APs by using the link at the top.

Here's an example of one that's "up and running".

Point taken, Vic. But having the ones that exist stickied, as Watcher said, would be beneficial. :)

I checked with James Jacobs, and he's ok with it. Stickying is a bit of a chore, but we'll do it in the coming days.

SWEET!

One stop shopping! : )

Thanks for listening Vic!

Thought I'd dig this up from the archives instead of starting a new thread. Can we have the Carrion Crown GM reference threads stickied?
Thanks!!

Sorry, I wouldn't know. I haven't looked at Homestar runner since this thread was a twinkle in tdewitt274's eye. :-P
