Dear Paizo,
I know you are a tremendous company that listens to it's customers, so I am starting this thread so that people can voice their demand. On a recent blog, October 29th 2008 you showcased miniatures made by N'wah. Having seen this and other excellent examples of his work I am starting this thread as both a declaration and petition. Please hire N'wah to create sets of 2D minis for Legacy of Fire. The high quality and fun artistry are an excellent fit for Paizo's APs. I know I will do my best to collect each set of minis released. Fellow Paizonians, if you would also like these excellent products added to your collection of gaming materials please let your voice be known here.

I would buy a PDF version on these mini and more, in either colored or uncolored versions. Also I would like to stress that I would buy just about every set you had him make, Paizo!

I would actually purchase them as full on minis, I like having a strong plastic base and not having to mess with glue. Hopefully, they would come with a printable PDF if you bought the minis, or just buy the PDF to save some moolah (that was a really good idea fakey).

I would very much like the ability to, when legacy of fire comes out, run it using a full set of N'wah drawn miniutres. More over, I would very much like to have a set of N'wah minitures for the other already existing AP's.
With regards to basing. I have been using some of N'wah figures for months now and found almost immediately that the best option for basing them is to print them onto sturdy card with a short, blank tab under them. Then simply us superglue to glue them into the slot in a small citidel minitures round infantry base. Now these can be bought by the bag of fifty i beleive from citidel. So one option would be to buy your self a bag of these to base up your minitures on.

maybe instead of a brand new product, have it as part of the map pack, thus raising the desirability of this product that it seems some dms just don't want...
That's funny cause of Paizo PDF goodness I have fallen out of the love of map packs. I subscribe more for the PDF's than for anything else because I can print for free on my works lazer printer and thus have all the maps I need. Bundling the two might actually drive up sales of the two products as someone who wants the one will get the other. But for me, I'd rather they be seperate because I know how much more affordable paper mini's would be in comparison to pewter ones and I need that savings.

i loved the 1at AP iconics... and my DM really loved the goblins... so in forename ofmy roleplaying group we demand minis for the people! cof cof... err sorry to much time on Galt...
but aye we would like a similar product, in my case printable is a bit best... mostly because the shiping cost are killing me... je my eternal complain is that my country and my state is as close as Canada to the US, but they get most of the time US shipping and we don't :P

I played with my Heraguv mini made by N'wah monday, my group liked it a lot. They were making suggestions of printing out four that way no matter where you sat you could see the picture. I think they would go big for playing with an entire set.
I hadn't thought of doing four on a base. Benchak and I were discussing doing art for the back side of the mini. It's a bit more work (easiest method we've discussed was "do original art, scan, erase interior lines, reverse image, reprint, draw back side of mini, re-scan"), but if it helps people enjoy the art more, then we'll look into playing around with it. Might make the 3-d stuff difficult, though ('course, I'm a ways away from mass-producing 3-d dudes, and they really work best on Large and larger minis).
Thanks for all the interest, and let me know what you, the potential consumer, would want!

N'wah I did this with some other paper minis just by taking the original image and flipping it then folding it over. It's a little tricky lining it up. I'll do a couple goblins for you and show you.

I've thought about doing that, it's just there's that part of my brain that says, "but it's backwards now! This guy's suddenly a lefty!"
I would be a lot easier to do, though. Does that seem like a decent compromise? Lemme know!

Dennis da Ogre"Check this one out
Very nice, sir! If you want, I've got a Signe somewhere without the rune background-- that was really just to spice up the background and make the pieces look more like art and less like what they are: printable minis.
Heh. Interesting that you chose my RotR character, Signe.

N'wah just wanted to say that I'm one of the players in the group and I really liked it. So much so I posted my character at the end of the "Draw your pathfinder PC" in hope of getting in line to get one of my own. Once again excellent work.

Glad you like it, and I'll go check the thread as soon as I'm done writing this!
And like Erik said, keep showing the interest! Nothing helps make it a reality like showing the demand for a product!

We are all huge fans of N'wah's minis, and there are a couple of discussions about how best to "bring them into the fold," so to speak.
Keep letting us know you're interested. Something may be developing on this...
I'll say it again: a PDF pack of N'wah miniatures, done One Monk style (front/back + base), would be sold in a heartbeat to me.

Seconded, and I would add that I would prefer Black and White but wouldn't mind colored.

I kind of agree - I would perfer a distinct front and back - that way it is easier to tell which way the character is facing

Looks like there's enough demand for double-sided minis to look into the feasability of it (Ben and I are more than willing to give it a go, and we'll only nix the idea if it's an absolute nightmare to set up). Also, on the black and white vs. color front, I can offer both. They're all inked in B&W line art anyway. It'd make the download a bit bigger, since you'd essentially be downloading the same thing twice, but it is easy to do, and offers both camps what they want for essentially ten extra minutes of work. So yeah, that's doable.
Anything else? I'm planning on having a sheet of bases that people can print out if you're like me and don't have extra bases lying around, and I'll provide instructions on how I assemble them, when/if this thing happens. what else do people want to see? A pack of minis for each AP adventure? A big "best of" collection at the end of each AP? "Generic" monster packs? I'm leaning towards packs for each AP adventure; that way, I can provide exactly the number of minis each DM will need in one set, but monster packs also make great sense, especially if people aren't running the Pathfinder APs specifically. Let me know! :)

I personally would be interested in both packs for each AP, and more generic packs. I hope to run each AP (though I might be doing it 30 years from now in a retirement home), but also run homebrewed campaigns set in Golarion. Both would be quite beneficial to me. I was only introduced to your miniatures through the Paizo blog, but I think they're terrific. And honestly, am excited and hopeful you're able to go forward with this.

Both a generic creatures pack (with the Classic Monster Revisited feel where possible) and an AP thematic omni-pack (NPCs, new creatures, specific creatures).

Zombieneighbours |

Count me in for both also, I know I want them to fight the NPCs in the adventures, but I also know that I don't always run APs so being able to get a cheap pack of different looking Gnolls, or Orcs, or goblins etc, would be great if I was planning something in advance.
I have always liked human antagonists by far the best, so please please please, if you do a set of themed bad guys sets, could we have a thugs and pirates set.

![]() |

soldiers, archers, blackguards and paladins to fill my rooster army...
ahh sorry :P
AP would be fine, my DM would get them immediately (i know him) for me i would love the monster revisited... i would love/hate to see a bugbear... those are scary
but can we get undeads?
vampries
mummies
ghouls
skeletos
zombies
liches?

*** CAUTION: HYPOTHETICAL SITUATION AHEAD ***
Okay, how's about this: we start with monster packs, probably culled from Classic Monsters Revisited. If those look like they're doing well, and if Paizo thinks it's worth their time, we can move onto APs. At the very least, most of the monster packs would work rather well for existing/upcoming APs (goblins for RotRL, gnolls for LoF). Would that work for people, or is there more interest in an actual AP tie-in?
Remember, I'm looking to start small here. Much easier to start with one or two things then expand up, than to jump in hardcore and have to pull back. So if you had to choose, for the time being, between yummy CMR monster-packs, and packs for an AP, which would you go for?

I'd be down with an undead set, if it seemed like something people want. 'Course, what DM doesn't like undead? :)
Also, if things look up, I do hope to make some generic "playable race" NPC packs. Guards, pirates, cannibal halflings, etc. are all possibilities.
Do people want those first, or some villainous monsters?

. So if you had to choose, for the time being, between yummy CMR monster-packs, and packs for an AP, which would you go for?
For me I would prefer AP minis, I hate not having the right mini's for the fights I'm running, what always happens is I wind up with 20 orcs and then the PCs go fight the illithid wizard and "I'm stuck using a human figurine saying, hey gus this is the mind flayer" that's just an example please no one do something annoying like say "Well since mind flayers aren't OGL you won't have that problem."
